W209 CLK55 AMG HPS gen 2 complete!
this past weekend I installed the hps gen 2 kit on my car. bigger injectors (37lbs/hr) and a slpit second voltage clamp. so far the car is a beast! eurocharged has been more than professional to tune the vehicle via internet. My afrs are a little rich but that will be worked out by the end of the week. the car sounds great too. the install was a little difficult. I did not get any bolts or gaskets with it. nor and of the hookups for egr and vacuum lines. I had to make an intercooler and bracket for the plenum. its a very one off custom build. so far no issues what so ever. its been on the car since Saturday. I should be getting a round 3 tune today. hopefully that fixes the rest of my rich condition.
what I have learned from this setup is, a voltage clamp on the MAF and bigger injectors and a walbro 255 pump ensures no lean conditions.
I also did not receive a new bracket and pulley for the sc idler. I did how ever receive a smaller idler pulley for the tensioner. I replaced that pulley with the smaller one and ran the belt around the sc and over the idler pulley just to left of the snout. (the top pulley next to the thermostat) I didn't relocate any pulleys.
Im very pleased with everything so far, so far so great! keeping my fingers crossed.
my wot afr is 10:1 so its pretty rich, and it still spins until 70
ill upload pics later today

I'm hoping for 11.9 The car is an animal. I can't wait to get away from the sl55 air boxes. And go with kleemann headers. Then I should be in the 11's

I asked this, cause MB got "2" #s of SL55 air box..?!?
L: "113 090 06 01" & R: "113 090 07 01" as ordinary for all 55K family,
but also they provides another special #, which is L: "113 090 11 01" & R: "113 090 12 01" with code: "494",,
*i went to dealer, 4 spare parts guys was there, when i asked them about the difference, 3 disappears, 1 told me i think TOILET not free now..

Very Nice, well detailed and clean. 11s are in the picture, getting it to hook up will be a challenge as well.
Are you sticking with stock gear or going qualif?

I personally think the whole setup looks smarter than the kleemann one. Possibly due to the water to air intercooler on top. Look forward to seeing the end results once you have the final tune etc. Low down torque must be amazing.

thank you! that means a lot. the low end torque is insane. first gear starts are near impossible. dig runs are out of the question until I get tires.
