robzn's CLK 55 AMG W209 Build
I'm Robert, 23y old from germany and I want to show you my project!
Last summer I bought the CLK 55 AMG with 90000km, very clean with red seats and original. Here are some pictures, still a beautiful car, but I like it more special..
You will see what I mean. Thanks to megacrazy and VIS Racing, they helped me a lot with US parts!
Exhaust is custom made with original AMG tips.
Got the VIS carbon diffuser, 63 Bumper, 63 carbon front lip and Blackseries Spoiler
With the new 63 bumper
New shoes in chrome! Rial Daytona Race 19x8,5J 225/35 Front and 19x10J 255/30 rear... with dogiii
Now a big change and I'm sure that's unique. The color was not special for me and I decided to wrap the whole car in a different color. Because of my red seats it was not hard to find a color.
The Results are great in my opinion.
The color is: Red anodized matte by PWF
With the 63 Carbon lip
The VIS Diffuser with an underbody diffuser! Thanks again to megacrazy!!!!!
With sun
Thank you! Updates of the interior are coming soon!

But those wheel/tire sizes are seriously whacky...
8.5 inch rim easily fits a 245 tire
10 inch rim easily fits 275
The tires are stretched, unless(sadly) that's what you were aiming for. I'd either bump the tires up at least 1 size or cut back the rim size. As is it's just extra rotating mass for no reason.

On that pic with the wheels and the dog, I noticed that the area in the hub that the tire bead contacts the rim, looks dirty or corroded. As someone who already has chrome wheels, overtime water will cause more corrosion and you will experience slow air leaks. You will eventually have to have your wheel lathed to get the corrosion off, then the wheel repair shop will put an epoxy to prevent corrosion in the future.
BTW, I'm running 235 front and 275 rear tires; going this wide will require grinding away some of the fender to prevent rubbing (I think I explained what I did in the tire/wheel thread in the regular W209 forum).

Also the left exhaust pipes don't look straight, or both are pointed away from each other - unless you were going for that look.
