hi guys
i was thinking to upgrade the camshafts on my w208 clk55 with 342bhp to kleemann camshafts and when i looked into it the power increase exactly as the difference between m113 55 with 342bhp and the m113 55 367 bhp.
so my question is if i will replace the camshafts for the cams from the engine with 367bhp would the power increase from 342bhp to 367bhp ?
after that I'm planing to replace the headers for the eurocharged ones and ecu remap hopefully will take me closer to 400bhp.
really needed a help from the guys who did this kind of upgrades or from the technisians who knows this kind of staff.
thanks in advance
here the pic of it
The euro charged headers apparently don't fit the w208 according to a member here who tried to fit them. Search the erocharged thread for more info

I've never tried to fit the Eurocharged headers so my info may not be correct but I'm guessing the steering interferes. If you look ae the Kleemanns you can see the drivers side is two piece and they obviously felt a need to give up some performance for fitment.
thanks guys and really appreciate your help
does anyone knows how much the custom build headers cost and anyone good there in US making them for w208?
thanks
The biggest bottleneck in the exhaust would have to be the flange on the cats. Assuming it is the same for the W208 as W209, it is tiny, about 1.3". In my opinion any headers worth doing should get rid of this.
Shorties by definition don't and most of them have very minimal improvements in torque and hp ie count the hp on one hand. If you really want shorties then have custom downpipes made, straight test pipes or even with aftermarket cats if need be. But if you go to this extent then long tube headers...
My recommendation is to just wait for set of Kleemann headers to come available. If you want to go custom, it will cost you around 2500.
that what i have been advised to go for by one of the tunners here in uk
i will pay more but you get what you paid for ))) so will be on the hunt for the camshafts secondhand from 209 clk55 as i think the kleemann just overpricing them a bit for 15-20 hp increase $2000 plus vat.
Don't think it's worth changing cams. If car is stock you will notice little to no power. The newer m113 engines have higher compression ratio and ecu tune, it's not just cams.

thanks for the info
so the only option left then to go kleemann for the headers and cams?
a bit expensive and its a shame that local craftmans dont do simillar works to kleemann
I would say forgot about cams until you have done other mods. you will go through headache finding and installing them, then notice there is little difference if any in performance.
I would say, if you want more power just go with supercharger route. There are always ones available to buy. If you want to keep car NA, I would say invest in good exhaust system. Car will feel and sound so much better. You can also get renntech or bigger airbox from a member here with high flow filters.

what superchargers would you advice and who is that member who sels the bigger airboxes please?
thanks
Best supercharger is oem m113k from an e55 or equivalent. Next would be autorotor kleeman (not the eaton one), then I am sure wiestec does something really expensive. Finally there are centrifugal kits for the w208 but not w209 which are the most efficient of the lot but with completely different boost characteristics - second hand hps and one or two others.
I didn't say it was the best performing. I said it was the best factoring in availability, bolt on potential, easily available accessories to complete the install and the performance is not bad being twin screw, there is decent low and high rpm performance. Eaton roots are rubbish in my opinion. Good luck finding a kleemann autorotor especially for a decent price. Centrifugal is great but they are thin on the grounds these days.
To Add the M113k supercharger is equipped with a bypass valve N.O. (normally open).
Some CL and S M113k have the valve deleted.
To utilize the E M113k supercharger it will be necessary to program around it. Eurocharged has accomplished this.
you will need the E M113k ECU and harness key and on and on and on.
I am working on a driver for this and getting closer.
