Door Sills
I just got my Illuminated door sills...They look great but there is no balast or relay...Does that seem right?

Where did you get them?? My dealer told me he could get them for me but they would'nt say AMG on them ; do yours?? If so, lend a hand so I can benefit as well Thanks!!

I really like the look, but am having a hard time swallowing the lump that will have to be carved out of my wallet.

I just went back and looked at the auction I gave the link for and am a little concerend as the picture he is now showing seems like its almost brushed alum....The set I got from Chrombest was really nice chrome....E-mail me if you need pics.

So when you guys buy these door sills, do you have the dealership instal them . Or do you guys put them in yourselves? How much did the dealership charge you if they did it?

If you have the real OEM sills (not the sill covers), the dealer can charge you up to 6-8 hours of labor because they basically have to gut your interior to route the wiring and fuses the MB way. If you are really conscious about your warranty, you should let your dealer do the work for you. If not, you can always find a local shop that would be able to put those in for you.
