new slk350
went to The LoveMercedes Tour yesterday
only drove slk350 and sl500 because they only had 2 of each car and lines were long
slk350 was relatively lightweight and made for an exciting drive, sl500 felt like a boat compared to it
interior of the slk350 could use some more upscale materials, plasticky dash felt weird in a mercedes, but overall very nice design inside
they also had a cls500, display only, didnt like the green color
misc pic of carrera gt that i saw last week downtown san mateo, wow is all i have to say! lol

Sunday's Love Mercedes Tour
OK...OK...Here's my summary of the event today...
The SLK was there...as another person posted, an Iridium silver with black leather display, and two for driving that were the diamond (tellurite) silver and black.
I drove the black (with the gray leather interior that I ordered on my iridium). I WANT MINE NOW!!! Needless to say I liked it. Great performance! I tried out the airscarf...great in the foggy overcast Sunday morning.
Someone else posting talked about there being no differnce in room. I found the space for the driver and passenger (I have been in the prior SLK) much improved.
Sorry for the short quick post, but it has been a busy day...maybe more later...
