I'd highly recommend the Kleemann kit but since you said you don't want to go nuts get either the kleemann headers or Powerchip Ecu upgrade. Should be good around those ponies!

Question

JamE55,

Do you have a kleeman car?? just curious or do you own stock in the company? You seem highly impressed with them but I cant seem to find anyone of here who has a kleeman car to get info on it as I am debating on driving to Colo Springs to get some work done

Any info or car owners with kleeman would be much appreciated; I understand Timster had one but sold his car and doesnt frequent the forum anymore

Yes i do have a Kleemann car. An E55k. I do not own a stock in the company nor do i work there. I'm just very happy about their product that's all. The kit was the best money i spent since i got it installed. After having the old 349hp got tired of it so i jumped in and bought the kit. I've already eyed this kit once back in 01 but the price back then was pretty expensive. After riding the E55k back then i knew that was the only kit going in my car. I can tell you all about the experience BUT it's really best if you ride the car and test drive it. Let me know if you need more info.

There are actually quite a few people on the board with Kleemann cars... JamE55, me, Mach430, some nut with a Kleemann G55. I also have no affiliation with Kleemann. I don't have any experience with their other products, but I can tell you that their SC systems are top notch. Their SC had my 4.3 liter CLK putting out close to 400 hp at the REAR WHEEL and is being used as part of my 6.3 liter project. Throw one on your 55 and you'll be thrilled.

Welcome! Thanks mnymakr! Haven't had the chance to take it to the track yet but hopefully one of these days. And just take it around town and mostly on the fwys. Sorry can't tell you what my 0-60 times is but i can tell you for sure that having this kit is a major difference from stock. Like what i said before. Getting one of these kits is like having a brand new car! Entering the fwy is with ease and no problems catching up to traffic flow. Only problem is, if you do decide to get this kit make sure you also buy the kleemann LSD conversion. It would be very beneficial for the car since traction is the issue. With this kind of power it's hard to put them on the ground and the LSD will only help. If you think the pic is sick under the hood wait til you feel the performance and you'll really feel SICK! Hope this helps!
