Pics for Harris

Here are pics with the HREs on, and the car lowered two fingers worth using the PSS-9's. (Included a shot of the Kleemann kit, too)

Hmm.. looking at the pics, i see i managed the shadows poorly..

Never uploaded pictures before, so I made very low resolution pictures in case there's an upload limit. Email me if you want higher resolution pics.

And, have a great wedding and honeymoon!!

Thanks Walter, your car (and the SC) looks awesome!!

Yeah, if you can send me some high res pics, that will be even better. One thing: I think your rear is too low, I would suggest you to raise it back up about 0.5".

Did you have the Kleemann installed at Topline several months ago? If so, I think I was over there during the install and saw your car!! Looks nice.

Could you give impressions of the 55 engine with the Kleemann Supercharger? I am thinking of going with the same setup.

What is the power like? How is the acceleration different? How is the traction? Do you have the LSD? What rear size of tire are you running? Is it still able to be used as a daily driver? Does it feel quick, or is it just quick and you can't really tell like the other 55 kompressors?

Anything would be very helpful.

Thank you.

it was topline

Yes, that was my car at topline. what were you getting done at topline?

Harris, I'm going to take pics later to remove the shadow to give you a better idea of the drop, but i think adding .5" to the rear might be a good idea after looking at it again.

rguy, I enjoy the setup; you don't feel it right away in the low end of the rpm spectrum but it definitely pulls significantly as you rev up; rolling starts are great. I think sleestack had a really good description of the feel in another thread but i can't find it.

i still get some side to side swaying up to 30-40 mph that i have to work on with trac control off; i have 9.5's in the rear.

no LSD; haven't researched it enough (Gains, available vendors, cost, etc.) to think about it yet..

I'm getting used to the car as a daily driver; the stiffness is just a little bit more than the SLK with sport suspension (my only MB point of comparison) and i have the PSS's set to 8 (2nd softest setting)..

Looks Nice....but the rear is dropped much lower than the front. Maybe you should have it balanced out on the front and drop the front a bit lower. Love the S/c. what kind of numbers are you pushing. I like it..

Nice!! I was there finding out about getting some work done, but nothing ever came out of it. I need to get my PSS9s adjusted in the rear too, mine needs to drop about 0.5-1" - maybe we should just swap

It sounds like we've got enough critical mass in the Bay to arrange a CLK GTG

A Norcal GTG would be nice! My kleemann kit was installed by topline automobile in burlingame.

Thanks for the comments, Noble!

Speaking of kleemann, I got my car dynoed finally, and attached are my results. If the 55K kit is supposed to put out near 550hp at the crank, I think my at-the-wheel numbers are low? Hopefully Brandon can take a look at this too!

rguy, go to page one and take a look at my 16 sep post.. i think i got most or all of your questions answered.. please repost any question(s) that i missed..

e55jay, i sent the dyno to brandon at kleemann and we think we know the cause of the low power output. I'm going to take my car back into the shop, and i'm sure the next dynos will be better! It may take some time for me to post updated dynos, though.. hopefully by the 1st 2 weeks of october..
