Help with misfiring cylinders 5-8
I have put a 2002 clk 55 Amg engine into a crossfire. It runs perfect at idle but as soon as any load is on the engine it’s starts getting misfires on cylinders 8-7-6-5 all in order. So far we have tried replacing an injector, cleaning the fuel rail, switching the coil packs, plugs, wires, and right now the tech that did the ecu reprogramming suggested we check the time just to see if possibly one tooth is out. Does anyone that has a clk55amg ever experience this type of issue before with losing 1 whole side of cylinders? Someone in a Facebook group also suggested maybe a crank sensor, but said a forum post should yield the best suggestions!
thanks in advance!

Still need help!
We have checked the car’s timing, yanked the converts off, changed the coil pack sides, and still are getting an entire side misfiring when the car is driven. Can anyone think of anything else it may be?

the ecu/tcu engine, trans, and rear end all came out of a 2002 clk 55 amg convertible and was reprogrammed to work with the crossfire skreem etc. Rudy Compart did all of the reprogramming and testing for me on one of his cars to ensure everything had been reprogrammed correcty

the car throws a p0104 then when put in car and you start driving it throws misfires on cylinder 8 all the way down to 5. We did find out we used the Mercedes o2 sensors instead of the crossfires and Rudy thinks that may be a possible issue so we are going to get new crossfire Bosch o2 sensors and install them to see where we get

AFAIK, code: "P0104" related to the MAF/Mass intermittent circuit!,
maybe you have bad MAF sensor, or if you have MAP sensor, small breather hose could be clogged!!
did you check or replace any of those..??

we have checked the hoses multiple times and couldn’t find anything stopped up, if the c02 sensors don’t help the MAF sensor is next on the hit list.

Battery is new, I have o2 sensors ordered! The mechanic did use the clk o2 sensors instead of the crossfire ones so that may be a big part of our problem! The MAF sensor is next if it’s still not fixed.
