Just came from the dealer and they quoted me $139 per front spring so for the set its $280 R they pulling my chain or is that what it cost. If i wasn't wrong I thought you guys said it was $160 whats going on around here. I'm going to have to go look around because the numbers don't sound right

This is for part number # 210-321-32-04 they are quoting $139 per spring Here in Benz of Miami Off of 163rd st near I95

Chappy saw my car with them. I hated them and I got rid of them and went to the stck springs cut and have no regrets. Got rid of the Eibach's as well. They made the ride and the handling of the car terrible. You will soon see what you're missing not buying the MB springs. The H&R's will perhaps work better on Mcpherson strut setups like the newer C and CLK's have.
Wouldn't Hoppy be a condition of your shock not your spings that is rebound and compression issues. As for ride, well right now it is great, height is great so maybe it will sag I don't know I would hope not. If it does drop back and punt.

I have the same aftermarket Bilsteins on my car with the cut stck springs that I had with my H&R's and the results are nite and day. A more predictable driveable car I may add.

Check OEMPARTSDIRECT. com that might be your cheapest bet. Every dealer charges different prices.

My question is, if we already have a clk55 then why would we buy the rear springs all over again. I'm a little confused. If you look up the springs part number 210-321-32-04 thats the rear springs for the clk55 for 2001-2002. Are you guys using the right part number for these so called eurosprings or did you guys make a mistake? Pls let me know thank you. Incase many make the mistake of buying the springs for there clk55 and end up buying the same springs there car already has. Thank you. I guess the only way to do it right is to order both front and rear springs from steve or gert. Maybe doing it yourself is not the way in this occasion.

My bad I meant to say front springs not rear. I've read this 5 page thread like 10 times and I understand pretty much what everyone is saying. I'm going to buy the rear springs from steve as well as the pads recommended by AMGEEZY but when it comes to the front springs from what I understand even though we drive a clk55 most of us don't have the stock clk55 front springs do to the options we have put on our cars from factory. Because I'm sure if I buy the front springs from my dealer and when I take the front springs off of my clk55, with my luck they will be the same springs and the only difference will be the pads. I guess what I'm trying to say is whats up with the front springs are they the same as the one we already have or are they different. Should I just buy them and return them if they are the same or should I buy them from Gert and hope its different as mentioned by someone else on here? I like doing all the research I can before I do an upgrade to a vehicle and want to make the right choice as many of us have done on this forum. And once again thank you all for the info you have been providing. Can't wait to get everything done to my vehicle.

RE:

Hi folks,

I'm new around these parts and I just tried to use the oempartsdirect.com website (to start my euro spec spring quest) and it redirected me to auto parts warehouse? Who offers aftermarket replacement parts not OE parts.

Anyway I just wanted to verify with those who used this site and if in fact they offer OE parts?

This thread has so much information for the suspension inclined W208 owner.

Thanks.

just drove my car yesterday with the springs and new rotors! it feels great, definately feels like it grips the road better around turns as well as more stiff on bumps and doesn't feel like it's flying all over the place. the appearance is great, defiantely more snug and looks meaner somehow! keep in mind i am getting my PS2s tomorrow and an alignment and balancing!!! i can't wait, it already feels like a different car! amazing, thanks chappy again!!! will post pics soon

I still have the springs, still love them and have no camber issues.

Watch out single guys - these springs could bring you a family too!
Dayum....5 years ago. Updated for 2009.

I've still got zero suspension issues with the W208/55. New PS2s (in 18") went on a couple weeks ago - just haven't had much time to drive it lately (see reason in red highlighted above).

p.s. Stiggs, watchout....euro springs can lead to big life changes!

Ha Ha
Well, I'm still engaged and hoping to get married by next year, but I'm still not ready for kids.

The Euro-Spec spring really don't work well for the W209 like they do for the W208. The rear dropped a bit but the front basically stayed the same. I guess my next option is to get coilovers. Can you lower the front without touching the rear? I think the rear sits fine for now. I just need a few inches in the front.
