Finally got it lowered

Hello all. Finally found a shop to do the install. HR springs, Konis, #2 pads front and rear. Shocks are on the soft setting. I have only driven it from the shop to home but it does not feel to bad at all. It really has improved the handling. One last thing....the last pic is showing the roof. What is different about this pic? You got it NO sunroof. I was told it was a deleted option another respected board member on here told me you could not order it that way. So I just thought I would see if anyone else had one without a sunroof or has seen one without a sunroof.

NO....if you look at the pics I have a 3 car garage. Two facing the street which is full of stuff and one to the side that I park in.

I know. I have been trying to figure out the best way to go. Either a staggered setup or something more simple like a spacer. I think it would help the rear alot. That is the next thing I will be working on.

Nice drop, I have been considering dropping the car too, with the exact same setup, and now that I have seen it, I think I will go with #3 pads, as I don't want it as low.
As for the sunroof option, I wanted a CLK w/o the sunroof, but I live in California, and one of the dealers told me that all CLK's that go to California have the sunroof option, unless you do a special order. Since I could only afford a used one, I really couldn't do anything about it.

I have seen a W209 w/o one, but never a w208.

Where are you located by the way?

I don't get it....why would you NOT want the sunroof?? Doesn't that lower the resale value of the car?

What tire/wheel setup are you running? If not staggered, get a staggered setup to fill the wheel well. The fronts are ok, just the rears need more beef. I heard spacers mess up ABS/ESP calibrations. Thats what some dude told me. Also, since I have comand my route calibrations are calculated thru my wheels...

I have been trying to figure out what to do with the rear wheels. I guess it will be the staggered setup. I would prefer to go without spacers.
