Black front end bodywork

Is it me or is the hood on the black the same as the c55 and clk55 and all that's different are the fenders and bumper??? If that's the case maybe a fun swap for someone-

not positive, but CLK63 hood may be carbon fiber...

unless you do something with the rear fenders, a wide front fender would look odd on a C55. and wheels (with the right offset)/suspension to match.

it's just like installing the wide front M3 fenders on a regular E46..except the BS's front fenders are a lot wider.

The black series does not have a carbon hood. What kind of "swap'" r u talking about ??

just curious if they shared the same underpinnings e.g. if it would fit up that way.

Talking about the cars hood...

I've have had a hard time opening the hood since day one.

It's normal to pop the hood 2 to 3 times before it will fully release.

Have your dealer adjust it...mine opens and closes perfectly everytime.

that wont work unless you plan to do some major modification, the shock towers on the C55 are higher than the BS.
