How much is everyone paying for insurance?

Just wondering what some of guys are paying for insurance.
I just got my renewal policy and i have three cars on my personal policy and iin the breakdown I saw how much I'm paying for each car.
My total for 6 mos. is 1407. the BS is $196 for 6 mos.
Im not complaining but thats less than $400 for the whole year.
I'm under 40 and cars registered in Westchester NY
Is that ridiculously cheap or am I just crazy?
Its with Allstate and I have comp n collision and 100/300/100

that is VERY VERY low...especially for a car such as the BS...i've learned once u step outside of NYC, the rates DROP drastically...my chica (26 y.o) purchased an 08 C, had it registered up in albany for around the same price as ur BS...while companies down here (NYC) were looking to give her astronomical rates...bottom line, insurance in NYC =

Must be that good driving discount that you will soon loose if you drive your black the way it was intended. BTW, I hope your not an Allstate agent trying to scam us. If I had that low of premium I wouldn't tell anyone becasue it's a mistake.

No I'm not an Allstate Agent - and I don't really know how the whole insurance thing works but the other two cars are worth 40k and 70k respectively
the 40k car has the highest premium and the 70k the next and then the BS
all which total 1400.
Now my gf is 22 and i bought her an 07 C230 - she pays 1200 for 6 mos. registered way upstate NY - so go figure.

They have seriously misquoted the rate for the car. My guess they qoted it as a C230 with less than 5k annual miles. Good news you pay less.
I'd check to see if they rated a CLk 63 Bs on the policy and if they have the vin correct, if so you've got one by the insurance company.

Less than I pay for my 2006 4-door Jeep Cherokee Rubicon Limited, actually it's less than several of my cars. I don't think the insurance companies had enough data on a BS and they must have used regular CLK statistics when formulating premiums.

Just be sure your agent confirms it is a BS they're covering. If, god forbid, you ever total your BS, they may try to pay you for a regular CLK.

For some crazy reason, the VIN on my Carrera GT made Porsche and my insurance company think it is a Boxter! I received a service "thank you" letter for bringing my "Boxter" in and asking for my opinion on the dealer. I said I was extremely pleased since they returned a CGT. After that tip-off, I called my agent and got in writing that it was a CGT they were insuring.

Trying to slip one by your agent is a license for a fight.

Just my 1 cent. (Inflation.)

The burden falls on the insurance company, at least in Illinois it does. As long as you provide them with the correct Vin # it is their responsibility to pay out what that vin/vehicle is worth. I owned a 2003 Jeep Wrangler (I like off-roading too) and the entire time I owned it my policy stated 2003 Jeep Liberty, no matter how many times I called them to dispute it.

Boxster, Carrera GT they are similar......

You're lucky man, pay your entire premium in full for the year and make off like a bandit until they realize they made some sort of a mistake !!!
