Anyone Leasing?

If so, what numbers are you guys getting for a 2-3 yr lease? Also considering a RS. For those who have driven both, what's your take on the variance between the two. TIA

I usually don't keep my cars for more than 2 yrs, plus selling a used car is something I just wanna stray away from. This is much easier for me from a time standpt. Nobody's leasing?

LAst time I looked the lease rates were horrendous and it just didn't make sense. But, the current state of the economy and all other luxury items make it seem as though leasing would be a good idea. I plan on keeping this car for a long time so purchasing it outright just made more sense at the time. I have a feeling in a few years we will start to see the BS prices come back up.

I have not had the BS on the track yet, so I cannot compare at 8/10ths. My initial impression is that:
1) the BS is a little looser than the RS -- both accelerating and cornering. Perhaps this is just cold tires.
2) The paddles seem too unresponsive (dare I say, "sloppy?").
However, it is the 2nd best performing Benz I have driven (after a DTM). It sounds great. And I love it!

The GT3RS is close to perfect. It is very well planted, especially at high speed. Plus, I prefer a manual gearbox, except in traffic. The front spoiler is a challenge for real world driving. Speed bumps and driveways become adventure driving.

As a daily driver (and understated street predator), my nod goes to the CLK63 BS, but just barely. As a track car, I think I would prefer the GT3RS.

My US$0.01 worth.

I was quoted $2500 (36 months, $10k down, 15,000 miles a year) if sold at sticker. Should easily get $20k+ off a new one.

On another note i am sure that if looked hard enough you can pick up a new BS for somehwere in the neighborhood of 112k to 118k.

A 60 month lease is ridiculous IMO.

Unless you have a tax write off or overflowing with $$$ any lease is ridiculous.

The tax right off is a big plus. Plus I don't have to deal with selling a used car and haggling with morons who want to pay 1/2 of what the car is worth And then of course, you get a new car every couple years
