Selling the BS.... Price?
If things continue to trend downwards at this velocity, we're ALL screwed.
Doctodd33 said it best......"with that hateful statement and attitude Stiggs, you probably arent going to change your tax bracket anytime soon."
I will not retract any statement I said. You all can suck my *****.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
there's a lot of people on these forums that can afford a lot more cars than they currently drive, there's also that can barely afford their lease payment. talk about ignorant...assumptions assumptions...
T
i'm glad prices are going down fast so the flippers will be hurting, the ones that are too worried about resale value than actual driving and using the car for what it was built to do.

Who would that be on this thread? All I can recall reading is a bunch of non-owners gloating about the resale values of a car they are probably not buying any way. I do not recall seeing any BS owners on this thread "crying" about their purchase. Most of the owners on this board seem quite happy with their cars regardless of price paid and own them to drive them. (plus they don't need to worry about the prices of an '09 model).
On another note, hey chuck(and anyone else).....i have to give you some props for your car. I just saw a black CLKBS with about 1800 miles listed locally at The Garage here in Miami. You have it in your ebay favorites i think from that screenshot a few pages back. They have it listed at 96K but it is all beat up(to me at least). It has lots of nicks and paint scratches/blemishes as well as some curb rash on the front spoiler. One tire has a small tear on the sidewall. The sales guy, between saying how beautiful it was, said it was owned by a guy well known down here who owns a large medical clinic. I frowned when he said that cuz the previous owner apparently didnt care much for this particular car......i also know he tournament fishes alot. They also had a white one which looked much nicer and the carbon fiber is sweet since it is accentuated on the white. But he said the white one was sold.
So your car just shot up in desireability to any future buyers. Im sure you have cared more for your BS than this rich brat did. Just wanted you to know chuck. I have some regret about our whole exchange in case you didnt notice.

Your story about the black BS reminds me of 90% of the 928s I've looked at over the years. Usually bought originally by very wealthy individuals and trashed within the first couple years. Today, most are rescues. I appreciate the things I have and take extremely good care of them and have rescued a bunch of 928s, in fact I'm looking for another 5-speed GTS right now.
As far as those who come here to start trouble from the off topic saloon and generally speaking don't post anything of value (one of them has 2100 of the 6300 posts on the SAME thread......):
Chuck,
Wish you the best of luck in the sale. Do not let these guys irritate you. Life's too short to let these things bug ya. Just keep in mind that the BS is a limited production vehicle and that once the economy returns and all new inventory sold, that the pricing will stabilize. It also doesn't look like you're in that much of a hurry to sell. Anyhoo, enjoy the ride bro!

Now that's how adults should be acting. For the others distracting from chuck's sale, please don't post if you have nothing positive to add. Group Hugg!!!!

Guess it just goes to show you should always have a PPI done unless you really trust the seller.........

you're making assumptions about other people's financial situation and calling them haters because they expressed their opinion on the market price of this car. for what? to make you feel better that you're shopping around to buy this car and another poster isn't? Good luck with your hopes that the price will go up in the future, keep dreaming.

You went off on Stiggs for his opinion about the price should go even lower?
Everyone and their mother knew this car was overpriced to begin with at MSRP, just wait for August to come around $70k is not that far
is it the "crybabies" comment that ticked you off that bad? seriously good luck with the sale, unload it fast 70k is just around the corner.
