What is the lowest tire pressures you are running?

Track tire pressures are always adjusted based upon conditions, but I am curious about the lowest anyone is going for daily street driving. Discussion?
Thanks AS

Maybe that query should be "What ARE the lowest pressures..." Seems as simple a question as "Does chickens has lips?" AS

I've run 38 cold in the summer and 40 in the winter.

I havent purposely run lower than the recommended MB tire pressure for street driving of 38f/33r and usually run 42f/38r

Just checked my tire pressure since I'm going to the track tomorrow. On the street I run 46 front and 42 rear.

I will experiment with bringing the fronts down to 42. I love the crispness of the turn-in with the high front pressure, but the jiggliness on certain cement pavement bothers my wife.
Thanks all. AS

There's an easier answer than fixing the tire pressure.
My wife is happy not to ride in my car.

If you were lucky enough to have my wife, you'd want her in the car. AS

I see that the recommended tire pressure according to the sticker on the car is 48 front and 44 rear. Is this too high?

It seems to be the highest most of us have ever seen. Way to high to start at the track. Probably much higher than needed for the street. AS

Yes, I have never seen recommended pressure that high either. I just lowered mine to 44 front and 40 rear.

Also, unusual is the pressure difference between front and rear. Most cars that I have experiences with have higher recommended pressure for the rear tires. Is this because the front is that much heavier on the BS?

I experimented with multiple psi settings and found 40/35 gave me the best on the steet. The recommended street rating of 38/33 for speeds up to 155 is okay but I added a little more which seems to give me the best of both worlds.

It may be done to help reduce the tendency toward oversteer.

Weight certainly plays its part...engine block means front is heavier when unloaded....apart from my truck I run same pressure all round on my cars fwiw

Okay, so I guess it is safe to say keep it between 38/33 and 40/35.

Thanks for all the inputs!
