This is a friend of mine who runs up and down the east coast from NY to FL almost weekly, with an enclosed carrier....top notch.

Depends which way the 1500 miles is from Miami? Is it north, northwest or west? Personally, I would stick with the big names like Intercity, Fedex (used to be Passport), Exotic Car Transport or Tom C. Sunday (although my last car shipped with TCS went on a 2 week trip around the NE). Reason I mention which direction the car is from Miami is b/c some carriers stick to a east-west lane/route and won't go to far north or northwest. Cost wise you're probably looking at $1k-1.5k depending on who it is.

I've used Exotic, Intercity, and Thomas Sunday. Intercity is probably most reliableand professional, Exotic thte nicest to deal with. Cost varied between $900 and $1400. depending on load and schedule from Miami to New York - both upstate and to Long Islasnd (very difficult to get a car hauler truck into NYC.

I've used Intercity a few times before and nothing but a good experience. They inspect your car before it goes in the trailer and after it goes out.
I've also heard good things about Reliable but haven't used them.

Have done left to right coast deliveries in the past, but not for a living.
Northeast to Fla, would be pretty much a breeze and a pleasure!

But alas it seems like it isnt going to happen.....we were about to close the deal but someone is offering 3k more than me...so if you are on here, you are paying 3k too much.

What color are you looking for? New or used? How much do you want to spend, I know of two new ones with an asking price around $105k but remeber that is the asking price, you could proably swipe either of them for $100k plus taxes.

i have always had the attitude during this process that if it was meant to happen, it will happen, so i am not sweating it(except for that exchange long ago with Chuck).....i probably wont be able to afford it anyway with the way things are looking.........thx for the good karma.
