Jim - Dymag question

Jim,

How have your new dymags been holding up? Any problems with the new centers? I am still thinking about picking up a set.

Thanks

They seem to be holding up just fine. I have only put about 900 miles on the new ones, but they have been run hard on a couple road courses as well as several passes at the drag strip. The customer service I recieved from Dymag was second to none, they stood behind their product 100% and corrected the issue. I would buy another set in a heartbeat.

Do you have any pics of the new Magnalium centers on your car?

I can take some pics, but to be honest you would not be able to tell the difference, the paint and finish is the same and there is just a very slight modification to the hub/spoke area, basically a slightly different radius machined where the spokes meet the hubs, I could not tell the difference and had to have it pointed out to me.

Do you still use the tire monitors?

My BS never had TPMS the first few that came into the country did not have them I was told, not sure if this is an accurate statement, but I have no sensors in my Dymags and I never get a warning light, even when aired down to 20psi with my stock wheels/tires at the drag strip.

Mine won't tell me the pressure but it will tell me that a tire is low.

Thanks!

Just as a point of reference - I also have one of the first delivered and it does not have TPMS.
