Thanks Vic, looks like we have a similar taste in cars. The tires are 275/30 and 295/30, so that keeps the speedometer accurate. I kept the KW's, but you have to change the springs in order to get it that low. With the stock springs in place, it only allows for a slight change in ride height. Vicky, I know it ain't slammed like you like it, but it performs great at high speed and at the track .

Honestly I only slammed the M6 cause it just doesnt look great unless it is IMHO. The 997TT and GT-R received their standard "handling" drops
So Im still not clear from your post which is informative btw-- you did change the springs or you didnt? I like the look thats why I was wondering. Im pricing a white one right now.

DOOOOO IIIIIIIIT VIC !!!!
The white looks so good man. Would the BS be an addition to your current vehicles ? If so, you are gonna have a very well rounded lineup of 2 seaters

SMP I like your setup, not too low and functional. Thanks for the info.

I think Shamu is going bye bye---- I only got it because of the 24 month lease deal I scored. The 997TT and GT-R are keepers for me. The only way I keep the M6 is if BMW Financial releases it to me with net cap of fair market value. Its a great car but its time has come and I usually only keep cars for about 2 years except for my W211 E55.

It depends on the deal I get and if there is strong lease bank. Id rather hold on to my cash and pay depreciation plus the money factor. I know the BS is much more of a keeper than the M6 so Im planning on keeping it longer. I still need to work the numbers and part out Shamu.
Interesting description of your M6. I also owned an 06 white M6 with a bunch of AC schnitzer Mods, and that is the exact word I used it to describe it to my friends. Big Fat Whale. Those cars can be had for relatively cheap now, since they have a look that you eithe LOVE or HATE. Goodluck getting BMW to agree with market value though. They are probably going to ask somehwere between 10 to 12k more than the car is really worth, if not more.
According the post I pulled it from: 20x9 and 20x10.50.

Yeah...that's why I decided against the wheels. At 11K a set, even if I don't bend them, I would be so conscientious of the wheels that I wouldn't be able to enjoy driving the car anymore. So it's a lose/lose situation for me I guess...

Vic, I'm with you. That V10 sure sounds nice and hangs beautifully on the throttle from 5000 rpm on. If you part out the M6, and you don't have any of the parts spoken for already, let me know. BTW, love your 997TT. Very tastefully done!

I run 19x11 rears with 305 Corsas, it rides on lower H&R springs and the ride height on the coilover is set a few mm's lower than stock and have no rubbing or clearance issues.
