Shopping for a CLK63 BS
I'm a San Francisco E55 / 911 C4S driver who has become obsessed with the CLK63 BS. Looking at a few of the new ones left on the market, as well as a couple low-mileage pre-owned ones. I'm a newbie to MBWorld, but thank you - you have provided a phenomenal amount of high quality information. Right now I am wondering if there are any SF owners who have violent thoughts about daily driving the BS on our high-quality city streets...

No longer in the shoppers club. My BS got delivered to SF on Saturday (I found a new one in Sac). A heartfelt "thanks" to all zero of the helpful SF owners who responded to my original posting. I'll get over it though... driving this badboy makes me get over a lot.

I'm sure if there are any SF members you'll be fast friends when they see your first 2 posts! I'm surprised nobody suggested the search function......... 
Lot's of talk here about the BS as a daily driver and I doubt SF is alone in *****ty roads; we in NC have our fair share too. So.... What'd you get? Tell us more! Pictures? Congrats and welcome to the group.

2008 MB CLK Black Series
Although I don't drive my BS as a daily driving, occasionally, I'll drive it into work (about one a month) on a Friday. I work in SF (Berry Street, directly across from SF Giants ball park), but would never drive it as a daily driver, especially in SF. I too have a 911, but it's an older one, 1997 Turbo S.

Hey Todd. I remember you from one of the other forums. Gorgeous 993TTS. I have the same name on TS, 6 and a couple of other forums. I think we traded ideas when I was looking at a 993TTS. Ended up buying a Ruf 993 BTR.

Sorry for the delay, but here are a couple of photos. I've had it for two weeks and have been travelling too much to drive it, but I remain a man possessed. Got in a beautiful drive in the Marin headlands two weeks ago. I actually started it up in the garage on Sunday night, just to hear it...

Before i sold it, this past Sunday morning, I took the car out for one last ride, in Dyno Mode... it was like awesome! I am sure you will be finding your way there too soon enough.
