Anyone see a problem here?
Would you be worried about tracking this rotor?
I'm not, but a guy who claims to be knowledgeable got all wound up about them. So a second opinion or two won't hurt!
I'd be happy to hear your thoughts and expert opinions and remember this pic is probably magnified 3x.
Change them for some CC rotors...looks like these don;t stand up to the track-generated heat too well.-Rob
From the pic, those cracks appear to be surface. I would change them now and forget about the issue. But since you are OK with them then I would change them once any crack lines from any of the slotted holes start to connect to each other.

Actually they don't look to bad 14k and 800+ track miles, that's double what I get on my porsche. The question I ask myself, when I'm considering something as important as brakes, what's my life worth and how much are rotors?
There was a famous race driver Rolf Stommlen who was killed at Riverside driving a 935 Porsche. The theory was that the owner didn't replace the rear rotors and it exploded on the back straight destroying the rear wing which caused him to loose the rear wing and crash. I remember that event as I was there.
Discretion is the better part of valor.
I'll let the dealer have a look before the next track day.
Since the calipers have turned gold, I'm not sure they'll warranty them.
Thanks to all and I'm still open to a metallurgy expert commenting.

But hey, if you have a delaer that will replace them under warranty, then by all means
Where have you been?
And I agree with Jim, I would replace them if it were my car. Anyone's life is worth more than a brake job.
