2008 MB CLK Black Series

Installed CF Mirrors

Thought I would post a couple pictures of the CF Mirror's I just bought and installed. Had them sent out for 3M film covering before I installed them. They turned out great, but it took me longer than I planned, too any hidden release clips made it very challenging.

A big thanks to TT Motor Sports for sending me the installation instructions.

I think these compliment the stock exterior CF.

Next up, CF front lip….

Thanks, it was $1,201 for parts, which included a core return deposit of $200, $150 for the 3M film and the install was free...

CLK63 Black Series

The SLK55 Black Series, normally comes with mirror housings and mounts that are painted to match the body color, just as the CLK63 Black Series does.

I have seen one display model of the SLK55 Black Series at the 2006 AMG Driving Academy event at Nurburgring. I believe it might have been equipped with Carbon Fibre mirror housings and mounts, but I believe that was a Performance Studio modification.

From my experience, if it comes from the Performance Studio at AMG, that means that it is unobtainable for anyone who has a U.S. spec car. It might be possible to find some through a source in Germany, though.
