Cold tire temp for corsas

I did a search and got a variety of post about where to start the temp on the corsas when going on the track. So im trying to see if there is more of a consensus now on a general starting point. I've run my GT3 for years and the temps on a porsche are entirely different.

Of course they would be different on a prosche than they are on a CLK BLk series. Recommended Tire Pressure differ for many different reasons. Tire size, front wheel drive, rear wheel drive, All wheel drive, mid engine, rear engine, fron engine, tire size, diameter, compound. Starting pressure is also different, depending on track temerature. There is a post somewhere on this site that discusses preferred tire pressures and almost everyone has a different preference as to what is the best starting point. Good luck.

That was a real help. I run 38 Front 34 Rear Cold to start and go from there depending on the track and the conditions.

I've been increasing my cold temps over time. I'm now at 42 and 38 and usually end hot at 46/47 and 42/43. Next time I'll likely go up again to 44 and 40.

Ask Scott P and tell us what he thinks. I don't think anyone has more track miles on the BS than he does.

it is a hot bleed, also he mentioned those are when the ambient temps are in the 65 to 75 degree range.

haha, yes its a good feeling. after being at the track this past weekend. my tires felt better at 38 cold. anything over 40 and my tires would be over 50 and the car would be pushing a lot
