nice. i would go with 355 f1 spider, but if i was getting one i would not mind getting into a F430. How long have u had the clk63 BS and did u use it as a daily driver?

I'm confused
Didn't you just join here, post about a Black Series Club, and comment about declining values ??? Now your selling your car ??? Do you think your gonna sell it for more than you paid ?? I don't understand...

Unhappy

well that's because i originally bought the BS thinking it is or would satisfy my appetite for the Ferrari. It was all fine until this past Saturday when I made that mistake and went to the local cars and coffee get together where owners of all types of cars hook up the first Saturday and bull **** and show off.

Every time I go I am always attracted back to the dam Ferrari's as if they are calling me and taken demon possession of my soul.

If u are a car guy and enjoy fine cars u have to have gone through this before and know where i am coning from.

I have avoided going to the last two meet and greets this past couple of months, but no, not this time. I ended up going and once again my soul was taken over by the damn Ferrari Demon. In addition I realized that those older cars are coming down in price and after this weekend I realized after talking to the Ferrari owners that these cars are becoming affordable. So the combination of this past weekend, the prices, and the fact that I always wanted one, i have decided to see what i can do.

Yea I know, what a FOOL

Hey that's cool. I like all F cars but find they draw way too much attention for my taste. I'm sure you already know, but even though the are more affordable as time goes by...the maintenance is still in line with new car pricing though - and the harder you drive'em, the more expensive thy are to maintain. And, if I'm not mistaken, the 355 platform has to have the engine out for belt changes...

you are right but the F guys introduced me to a italian guy here locally who has his own shop and was a lead mechanic at a ferrari dealership.. He charges about hald the cost as dealer. he did advise me that Ferrari 360 is even less maintance and does not need enging out and the cst of 30k major service is really not that bad, is with in my ranger.

Yeah, I know it can be done with engine in-situ. Lots of dicussion on Ferrarichat about it and this is also a good link:

http://www.the355.com/mambo/content/view/28/29/

Are you planning on using it as a daily driver ? Also, I'd budget about $1000/month for repairs.

Whats the shop / guys name? Im pretty sure they need the engine pulled all the way out for belts still. My dad had a 360 went in for a service and found some tranny problems needed a new TCU , pulled the engine for the belts and put on new tires at the same time and the bill was 13k two months later he traded it in.

I had a Ferrari 550 Maranello for 6 years before the BS. And while I do miss it at times I wouldn't trade back for it, although it would have been nice to keep both. Last weekend I took the BS up to the F40 Motorsports open house which is a well known classic car company in CT owned by Wayne Carini who does the Chasing Classic Cars series on the HD channel. In any event there were lots of Ferraris and Lambos present as well as a nice assortment of other classic, muscle and sports cars. I was the only BS there and I was really quite surprised by the size of the crowd my car attracted and all of the favorable comments and interest. There were actually some who commented that my car was their favorite car there (I probably would have went for the Enzo). I guess the moral of the story is that maybe you should find a better place for coffee.

I had a similar experience last weekend at Cars and Coffee. There was a photog there and more pics of the BS (well except for the white Lambo) ended up on his website than any other car....

I love the smell of ownage in the morning....

To OP (4getit)

...so bro, your first post on MB World was April 24th of this year, right? it says you just picked up a BS and were looking for a BS owners club, right? So why is it when I google your phone number 602-403-0024 I find a Craigslist Orange County ad from March, 29 2010 from you selling a BS? You are not trying to scam anyone are you? If so you picked the wrong forum for that kinda horseplay. I'm sure you have a logical explaination the will spell out everything, right....right?

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/1667840834.html
2008 Mercedes AMG 63 Black SeriesMar 29, 2010 ... (602) 403-0024. This car is not a CLK 63 AMG, IT IS A BLACK SERIES CLK 63 AMG (VERY DIFFERENT) Photos do not do this car justice ...
orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/1667840834.html

The ad has been removed/expired but the title and some ad content still remains on Google search engine results page.

please explain.....................

In Ferrari parlance the 355 isn't that great even with the first generation F1 box. Won't impress many real car guys either, as a BS will destroy it in any performance contest. I've driven the F1 spider and don't expect it to handle with the flimsy chassis. I'd pass on this model.

360's was a huge leap for the entry level Ferrari, nice car but the factory performance numbers were very optimistic. Makes a lota noise, low torque every ricer wants to race you. Most people can't tell the difference between this and a 430. Get it and remember to send me the regrets letter after two weeks, why did a get this, unless of course it gets you laid like a rock star.

Im still here listening to u guys. Especially to this so called Jcart.

I was not going to respond to Jcart's recent response but it really pissed me off. First of all it really makes me wonder why some one would Google a persons name or telephone number. This makes me wonder the motive behind Jcart????? Hmmmmmm.

Just wanted to see how u guys treat someone after they decide to sell their BS.

FIRST OF ALL JCART" this is a forum, that's it, a forum. U did some research, wow that's great, u are a regular Dick Tracy. But just because u located a listing from March does not explain to u why I have done what I have done. Juts like in a Court of Law there are rules of court procedure. Like them or not.

Now I did not tell everyone in the world all the reasons I have been considering selling my BS way before March. I have a lot of equity in my BS and even thou I don't want to sell it, it might be possible that I need that equity to pay off bills u dumb ***. Even Thou I know there is not another car out there in the price line of a BS, that can out perform this car. I have been considering selling the car for some time and have listed it previously. Thou I never really got bites on it. Because know one knows what a BS is most of the time.

As far as the BS club, i thought that if there were such a club, that we could get together at times and this would take that damn common sense idea out of my head to sell my BS. I really don't want to sell it. But short of prostituting myself to get my equity out of it the common sense thing to do is sell her with a lot of pain being involved.

It wasn't until the cars and coffee show where i talked to Ferrari owners that advised me these cars have come down in price and are affordable. So I really pushed the selling of my car to get equity out of it.

I have been off and on about selling it, just to get my equity out of it. If i was to get my equity out of it then I could use some it to pay off my debt to Uncle Guido, (The feds) for income tax. I know that is called common sense.

With the rest of my equity I could find a much older Ferrari that cost much less then a BS, and use the rest of my equity on that car.

NO, NO, NO, don't worry about it jcart, it's okay to persecute someone on a forum website in stead of sending a private message.

Now U all have it, lets see what kind of response this generates.

Yes my BS went to a dealer on consignment! Does it mean it will sell, possibly. Then again may be not.

Now lets get back to the thought of why someone would Google personal information, ie a telephone number, or a name. Makes me wonder what the hell JCART is or has been up to on this forum, before I ever came along. Watch out guys with your info that u post. Luck or me my personal info such as telephone number and location is a dummy phone number (Pre-Pay).

Next time u pick a stance to argue JCART, make sure u really know who u are talking to and/or trying to disrespect.

Forgive me on the response to JCART, it should of been to jrcart. I see that in his response he called me bro, this should indicate to all of u that he is a youngster, especially since he goes by JR CART "jrcart."
