finally my car
In light of full disclosure, here it is just after we ran 183 MPH in Nevada (we did it on the road where this pic was taken). Earlier in the day we did a run out to lake mead with a bunch of Ferrari owners. One other black was there along with a SLR.
If there is a cop on this forum, I am lying and we didn't do more than 55MPH
.
In Vegas I stayed at one of the city centre properties...valet loved the car and did not put it in the regular lot.

The DTM wing could be an option but I am concerned that might attract too much attention. The car is going to go back to LA for some tweaking by Simon so I might look at the options again with him.

I never experienced my front end suspension bottoming on a straight away, even when my car was stock I brought it up to the top speed limiter, the azz end would get a little light but never what you experienced with bottoming, did you check your tire pressure? Were you running at those speed for a prolonged period of time? I'm not doubting anything you are saying, just trying to picture in my head what you explained.
Simon and Brad will hook you up, they have had literally dozens of Blacks in their shop and between them and the guys on this board you will get your suspension sorted, the good news is the stock stuff it already pretty close to perfect, the stock shocks are good, just go with a shorter spring with a different rate. A few guys on this board have driven my car on the track and they all commented that even more noticible than my HP gains are the greatly improved handling charecteristics over their stock BS's. My combo of springs, proper shock settings, aero package, ultra lightweight Dymags and wider rubber, and lighter rotors make for a noticable difference.

Letting off could have likely spun me out or caused me to lose control....I just eased up on the go pedal.
The front end was a result of the bumps in the road. I used to run the silver state classic and pony express many years ago and have experienced this. From experience I have found higher spring rates to generally solve the problem. To be honest, I likely won't go up to those speeds again so it isn't really an issue.
Off to Montreal...
