future black series question for JRCART and other connected mercedes owners
HI guys, i was wondering if you guys have heard any new news of future black series cars, eg E class coupe black series etc. i am not as well connected to mercedes dealers and info as it seems most are in this forum. everytime i go to my local mercedes dealer, they always give me the same bs, they know NOTHING OF NEW MERCEDES CARS that will be coming out in the future. i want to sell my BS soon if a new one is coming in the next year or so, as i am not in position to keep it and buy a new sub 200k black series if and when the plan to build another one.
Also if they are not planning on any new black series cars, what do you guys think i could expect on a trade in on my 2 owner bs with 18k miles black/black 65k?

Last month's Evo magazine said there will be no E class coupe Black Series.
Sales weren't fantastic on the CLK and certainly not on the SL.
If you get near 65, let me know! I bet 58 to 60, unless you're trading on a really high end model. Then 62 or 63 - but what do I know, this is guesswork based on a tiny bit of market info.

CLK BS as trade in? Future AMGs
It's my experience that Dlrs totally ream us on trades - I'd be surprised to get 50k unless car had <2000 miles on it, but I hope I'm wrong.
Worldcarfans.com always keeps on top of any new car news as do several other sites. Plus there's those AMG Lounge Q & A sessions.

Brooklands is a cool facility. I did their half day drive a couple, 3 years ago. The E63 Estate was a great drive on the track but the CLS was a bit better.
The SLS Black will be an exceptional car, I hope you love it!

CLK AMG BLACK SERIES (among other German things)
obviously ill only take it if its still a n/a engine , special enough , significantly better and priced nearer the clk black rather than the sl black .
but the fact they took it i hope means that there will be more black series , no ?
someone told me a euro mag had announced the death of the black series range .
( one of the reasons i wanted to try my hand ).

There were rumors a couple of months ago that AMG "may"use the V12 BiTurbo monster in the E-Class for a limited production E65 model.... it was a small article online and there was a thread about it in the W211 section, but so far no follow-ups or updated news
