Insurance
The car is insured through Florida.
Tks
Then, save the quotes then call GEICO and tell them what you found premium wise for similar coverage from their competitors. Chances are, they will lower your premium to a more competitive one. Geico knows how much less (or more) the competitors are charging, don't let them fool you.
My CLK63BS is $584.50 per year with an agreed upon insured cash value of $83.5K
I have a total of four cars with a gross insured cash value of $200K on the policy with the yearly premium at $2363.50.
I have two other vehicles with Allstate, a 1999 C43 and a 2005 G55K with a $1034.00 six month premium...

Here's my comparison with a 91K agreed value and 2500 mi a year with comments.
American Collectors $1166 includes 500 ded Comp and Coll and 100/300 Liab.25 mi tow.
Haggertys $1839 includes 250 ded Comp and Coll and 100/300 liab. 25 mi tow
AAA $1397 includes 500 ded Comp and Coll with $1million Liab and unlimited towing distance. 5000 annual miles.
The AAA is hands down the best deal so I'm staying were I'm at.
I'm sure it would be less if it were't for the two street racing cites, one wreckless driving and two DUI's.

To the OP: Another friend of mine who owns a highend body shop says GEICO is a horrible company to deal with on a claim!!!
I know I probably pay a bit more with State Farm but I'm not worried about how they'll treat me IF I ever have a claim. Not always about price.....
Please briefly explain or give example of what you mean by "restrictive" as far as auto ins goes.
Thanks,

Mercury is a DISCOUNT insurnace company. If you want your BS repaired at Earl Schieb no problem. Ask the high end quality body shops how much mercury allows on labor charges. They do not specialize in high end cars.
If your hit by a mercury insured, expect to be baggered into a comparitive negligence argument so they can DISCOUNT what they owe. Lastly, compare your State Farm policy to Mercury line by line.
Most of Mercury's adjuster are younger and not trained like State Farm.
Just my humble opinion after thirty years litigating insurnce claims.
