Can I use 245 and 325 Michelin Tires?

I recently posted that I am going to track my car next year and want/need to replace my OEM Corsa's that have 9,700 miles on them. I've run across a sweet deal on 4 used (1,800 miles since new) Michelin Pilot sport +/N-Spce 245/35/19 and 325/30/19 OEM tires for $300.00 total off a Porsche GT3. They have not been previously tracked. Can I use them for the track and dry pavement only daily driving? If I can, will I need hub centric rings, will they fit my OEM rims, will the rears rub? Just looking to save a few $$$$.

Even if they were born yesterday , 245's for the front is too small, and 325's for the rear is too big.

325's are way too big for the rear.

Well, it was a nice thought. I'll stick with my OEM sizes. BTW, has anyone tried the Michelin Pilot Sport +/N-Spec tires? They seem to compete favorably when compared to the Corsa's for a few dollars less.

Your'e

going to track your car and are worrying about tire cost?
Spend the money and get the best tires you can afford.
Then spend more money on a driving school that lets you use their cars and learn how to drive track

Thanks for the advice, my thoughts exactly. I personally have never liked my OEM Corsa's and will not repurchase them. My BS is not a daily driver so there was no need to replace my Corsa's until now. Although they were probably the best (and probably only) track tire available in 2008 for the BS that doesn't mean they are still the best in 2011. Michelin and Goodyear also manufacture very competitive track tires and I want to ensure I purchase what is currently the best track tire regardless of price.

I would go with Toyo R888 tires.

Agree with the comments so far on the sizes, and Pilot Sports are not quite as good as the PS2s. If you are talking Pilot Sport Cup, they compare more like the Corsas, since they are both R compound tires.

I am glad you finally decided against the Contis...

Do they make them in 265,285/30/19 ?? The Tirerack site doesn't show matching OEM sizes....

I don't believe Tirerack sells Toyo tires. The R888's are available in 265/30-19 and 295 or 305/30-19s. There aren't alot of great alternatives in the 265/285 combination. One of the main reasons I am considering wider rims so as to expand the selection of tires.
