Amazing how OEM it looks. I like that it works with the stock airbox and engine cover. Must look awesome with the CF airbox.

Any kind of supercharger, turbo, or use of nitrous = Power adder. Check NHRA an IHRA rulebooks.
I'm very aware of what the sanctioning bodies say about "power adders"...and I really don't care. Simple fact is that a blower never stops working, and nitrous does - hence the comment about it being LAME. Now, if you are talking about full on race cars, track only, then fine. But using it in a street car to achieve a goal that can only be set at the track is lame. If you can't duplicate your track times on the street 100% of the time then your setup is LAME. Again, just my opinion.

Back to the topic at hand...that pic. WOW. OEM is an understatement. I wonder what the dudes at the performance studio are thinking??? Probably..."hey, we could have charged customers 50k for that!!!!" LOL - Congrats Earl, I'm sure it runs like a bat outta hell.

Hey LZH,
I'm not going to argue with you on your opinion about nitrous. Have you ever had a car with nitrous?
All I ask is that you remember that until the last few weeks there was NO other power adders available so myself, jrcart, and a few others took the only route available to go faster so lighten up. We were all worried as we still are about the driveline. The nitrous only punishes the driveline for a short period of time and thus would live longer. Until someone proves that the driveline will survive daily S/C pushment its not a viable option in my opinion. We are also worried about heat build up for road racing with the S/C so that has to be proved also. Many things are on the line here so please stop calling the only viable option, nitrous, lame until we have other proven options.

Nitrous is a blast and can be duplicated on the street in the right setting. I believe jkrcart left the nitrous set up on his car so if he did is it lame now?

We do what we can when we can. Now that a S/C is available and it doesn't kill the driveline in short order then more people including myself will consider it.

So that means no slicks? No race fuel? Drive it to the track and drive it home? You are not going to find many cars that can hook 500+ at the wheels and above in a street only trim. Ive had blower cars, and nitrous cars....each has their place. Theres nothing like having the instant power of a blower, but nitrous is nice as well, especially when you dont need 650 at the wheels to get ice cream.

My setup is on 100% of the time. 575-615rwhp and NO bottle warmer needed. instant 1100psi with the flip of a switch and the power is a GO. Strip or Street. I like the juice and I like the SC. Now for road racing? I'm not yet sure about the SC but I'm sure Jim will put it thu the test.. either way GREAT JOB...

Just because nitrous is the ONLY option for a power adder, doesn't necessarily mean it's a GOOD option. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on the matter. I don't want to take anything away from your record Keith, it's well deserved. And I know that when you are pushing 500+whp in a rear wheel drive car, the power becomes more of a problem that has to be corrected by a driver with skills - particularly in launching the car. So congrats and nice driving dude
