Some shots from track day
Hi guys i took my CLK BS and C63, both supercharged, to Eastern Creek Race Track in Sydney today for a trackday. Both cars drove beautifully all day in nice 25c heat, no limp mode, no dramas at all. I dont have any data logged but i certainly did not feel any degradation in performance over they day across 4 30 mins sessions. They were a pure joy to drive and were no doubt held back by my novice status!
Anyhow here are some pics. Not very exciting ones admitedly but some better shots of the custom vented bonnet which having seen in person, i am extremely pleased with. As they say, pictures really dont do it justice. Ramspeed who made the bonnet for me with have some better pics and a walk around video of the two cars which i picked up from them this morning before hitting the track which i will post when available. The CLK was getting bonnet installed and the C63 was getting the supercharger and Eisenmann race exhaust installed.

FYI i am more than pleased with the Eisenmann race exhaust on my C63. It sounds so good, deeper than stock, a bit louder, more crackle too. Just love it! When cruising/sailing or coasting down a hill it sounds like rolling thunder with the warbling coming fromthe beautiful silver tips! I got many comments form other people at the track who i had never met before congratulating me on the awesome sound coming out of the cars. Combined with the supercharger whine it sounds like an F14 Tomcat coming into land on a carrier deck
The guys who installed it were also suprirsed at how light it was for a stainless system vs titanium. Great work Eisenmann!

Very nice. I am very happy to hear that you had no heat related issue during hard 30 minutes stints, I have not had mine on a road course yet with my SC but I hope to in mid Oct.

Awesome!! Really like the hood on the CLKBS.
Maverick, how those the Eisenmann exhaust sound when compared to stock? I want to know from an actually owner.

Its as loud as my prior Vath resonator-back bimodal set up (which i drove with the flaps open 100% of the time), yet even deeper, tonier. The Eisenmann exhaust has a little more drone in the cabin around the 2000rpm mark, particularly with windows up (dont ask me why windows matter) - nowhere near enough to put me off though. Versus the stock car my previous Vath setup had a lot more crackle and popping and sound effects on coasting and overrun than stock as well which i particularly like, and the Eisenmann Race set up has even more again, yeehah! . No regrets!

It definately sounds deeper but not dramatically louder (at least from in the cabin) than stock. I think from internet videos it takes a keen ear to note differences between stock and even the Race exhaust from Eisenmann, at least for the vids showing a car at rest being revved. In person, however, it has an unmistakably different note to a stock car.

Both cars are ferocious, nice being in 5th gear going uphill and getting instant throttle response!!

CLK63 Black, E350 Wagon, Supercharged Denali, Lotus Elise, Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor.
Well both cars are starting with the same engine+supercharger, but the CLK has a stock exhaust (headers still coming), while C63 has sport cats + eisenmann exhaust. Havent dynoed the C63 but wouldnt be surprised if it wasnt the same as or a tad higher than (due to the exhaust work) as the CLK. CLK BS has been on 3 different dynos and ranged between 330rwkw (at Motor Mag shootout); 353rwkw (on Sonny's dyno) and 380kw at the wheels on a hub dyno (at Tunehouse).

Well 380kw at the wheels is about 513 hp at the wheels (divide kw figure by 0.746). on hub dyno you lose about 17% through the drive train so that translates to a crank number of 620hp. Note Weistec claims hp of supercharged 63 car us 620-630hp, so my result is pretty consistent with that.
I have posted on performance numbers before and in that post I have dyno charts. The torque is the most impressive thing, it's flat between 2000-6000rpm at something in excess of 700nm. This is why I can overtake cars when I am going up hill in 5th. Nice
