Racing Stripes on a CLK63 BS?
I've seen a lot of Mustangs and Camaros recently with racing stripes. There is even a white BS for sale with black stripes. Would you do it?

Post up the pic.
Not sure it would suit the style of the CLK, but it looks pretty good on Vipers in certain colors and probably the Exige as well.

Seen black racing stripes on a white SLS, looked great. Saw racing stripes on a CLK Black Series, looked like Herbie the Love Bug.

Racing stripes could work on a BS but the ones in the photo are done entirely wrong. Stripes should be matte black. They should not run down to the front bumper cover and splitter, they should stary on the hood about two inches abouve the grill, they should not be the same width all the way back they should end at the back of the hood about an inch from the edge of the hood. They should not be on the roof, the roof need to be completely wrapped in matte black. The stripes should start up again about an inch from the edge of the rear deck lid and end about an inch from the back part of the rear decklid. The factory rear lip spoiler will not work, you will need to run the DTM or Euro style rear wing. Follow those instructions and it will be sick looking. Find a GOOD vinyl shop and have them work up some photoshop concepts for you experimenting with varying width, tapers and corner radius until you find the right look for the car. I am thinking about a single wide stripe on my new C63 BS in matte red with matte red wheels.
