Thoughts on MB extended warranty
My warranty runs out pretty soon, and have been searching around for MB extended warranty. THis is the best deal I found so far and I am curious as to what you guys think about this deal.
2 more years or up to 75,000 miles. Mercedes benz Warranty. Covers everything but wear and tear items, cosmetic items and plastic hoses. I only drive the car about 4,000 miles a year so essentially i am paying for the extra 2 years. And the price is $3000.00. Please let me know what you think or if you have access to a better deal.

I don't know what the pricing is like now but i bought the MB extended warranty (3 yrs 75Kmiles) for $2850 last September. If you check a few threads down there is another extended warranty thread with the name of the dealer in California which offers pretty good pricing.

thank you for the response. I ended up purchasing a plan for 3 years and/or 135,000 miles for $3350.00 on Saturday. It covers everything but cosmetics parts and plasrick hoses. I thought it was a good deal. I have had my car for 4 years and only have 15,000 miles so basically i am covered for another 3 years. If anyone is interested in this deal, you can pm me and I can get you the information of where and who to speak with.

I'm purchasing a black series in the next 4 weeks and checked on extended warranty pricing at my local dealer. I was able to get a 5 year/60k mile extended warranty through Fidelity for only $3454. It covers everything except cosmetic and hoses etc with a $100 deductible. The car I'm purchasing has extremely low miles though which is why I was told the price was soo reasonable.
