Hey guys, wondering how many of the guys might still here that were here when I had my BS? Anyone?

I'm selling my current Aston Martin Virage Volante (it's on eBay now) and considering replacing it with another BS? It may take a while to sell the AM so I'm not in a rush... I want a red one. I know there are fewer red than any other color but, I also know they are the fastest! I've been watching the red BS on autotrader which has been there for over a year. Price obviously the issue? Wish I was in a position to buy the low mileage red BS that showed up on eBay few weeks ago; sold for BIN of ~$72k......

Of all the cars I've owned over the years, the CLK is one of the ones I miss the most.

Hope everyone is well!

Best, Chuck

1st Black for Me
Chuck...just purchased my 1st Black coming from a 996 Turbo. All I can say is "Wow!". This car presses all the right buttons for me; so much that I've sold my turbo....was going to hold on to it. Have seen several previous Black owners on this forum who regretted selling their cars and now I know why...can't see parting with mine any time soon. Good luck with the hunt!

Hey Chuck - weren't you the one with like 300 miles (??) on yours when you got rid of it? I think it was White, which is by far the fastest color on a BS if you ask me.

Regardless, welcome back to the insanity...

Welcome back, I'll be back in the market once the DC madness settles down (I'm on furlough). Agree, the CLK63 BS is a keeper. I still regret selling mine although my current 997TT is a good choice too.

....I fixed it for you LOL.

House and Senate voted last weekend to give all "furloughed" workers back pay, therefore you are simply on an extra vacation

I miss my CLKBS but probably wouldn't buy another because of the transmission... 6 speeds are just more fun IMO. I've been thinking about a 13+ Viper GTS or maybe a R8 V10 when the prices come down a little.

Thanks, but I'm an independent 1099 contractor who will not be reimbursed for this insanity.

That does truly suck. Just assumed you were government employee.

The financial ripple affect of this insanity is starting to take its toll. In my case it's approaching five figures and I've cancelled all discretionary spending. I'm fortunate that I have other resources that will get me through this in the short term but I can only imagine the hurt and pain others less fortunate than me are feeling right now. We must take our country back from the radicals in Congress in 2014.

Welcome back Chuck.

I still have the SL55 and of all my cars it is still my favorite. I bought the wheels from your black from Graham. Been having a lot of fun with the PCA Crown Region and the group from Brumos. The SL still hasn't been in the rain and now has 6000 miles on it.
