I still have a lot to learn about these cars, but could it be the alternator?

U win!, it's the belt. The belt is shredded around my evosport pulley. How hard is to replace it. Don't want to tow the car since it's lower.Should I drive to my tech or try to replace myself at home?

Changing the belt is pretty easy but if you do not have a belt routing diagram you might have some issues, belt snakes it's way all over the place in there.

DIY or tow. Wouldn't drive it. Might wanna look at the oil while you're at it. If it's fried, may wanna consider an oil change and look at tranny fluid as we'll. Not sure how long you ran it after breaking the belt.

As I recall, think belt routing is in the owners manual. I still read those things...old fashioned I guess.

Since you have an aftermarket pulley you might want to check into this a little further as to why this happened. Belts don't normally shread without some other pulley alignement issue.

Probably broke the plastic idler pulley. I broke a couple after I switched over to the evosport crank pulley and a couple other guys on here broke thiers even with stock pulley. I beleive Wesitec develpoed an aluminum replacement...actually I know for a fact they did, just not sure if they made it available for public sale or if it was just a one-off for Earl and I.

Check idlers for play or damage. Also check the belt for glazing. And look at the pulleys and idlers for damage or sharpness. May sure that wiring and coolant lines are ok also
