What Was Going on At WSIR Yesterday?
A couple of my buddies were at WSIR for Redline Time Attack yesterday and saw the MB trailers letting out these guys.
I assume they're filming some promos at WSIR.
I personally hate the track as it's dated and the rock traps can wreak havoc on your car should you step out, even one tire out.
As a side note, what kind of lap times have you guys been getting with the CLK63 AMG BS at WSIR, BRP, CVR, MRLS, etc.?
I just want a point of reference as I will have to learn and adapt quite a bit if I end up getting one.

....that article is a joke, author should be shot. None of those cars are coming anywhere close to 200mph at Willow Springs. It is not the fastest road circuit in the US, not even close infact. Brainard International and Road America and Miller Motorsports Park are in an entirely different category top speed wise and average speed wise, if this guy thinks Willow is fast he would crap himself in turn 1 at Brainard

WSIR is one of my favorite high speed tracks with plenty of runoff if you run out of talent. Pretty safe for high HP street cars in spite of the gravel, at least its not walls.
Low rental rate makes it a favorite for clubs and TV shows.
Craig Stanton a pro driver ran 1:29's in a BS with a passenger! If your in the 1:33's your driving pretty well.

That is awesome.
I wonder what it would run at a more technical track like BRP.
How is cooling/temps on the car?
