Wholesale vs Retail $$

So I'm looking to get back into another BS, and I've noticed that the prices are all over the place. Does anyone know what these things are actually selling for?

Autotrader/cars.com, etc all have different prices and then I hear people getting trade offers in the $40's. I'm just looking to see what a good start point would be for negotiation.

Thanks!

Must be silver, and miles under or around 50k is fine.

you won't have a problem landing an unmolested one anywhere in mid~high $5x,xxx range.

Seems like silver and black are in that range. I've seen black ones with lower miles in the low to mid 50's and slightly higher mileage (40 - 60k on the odometer) around the same. Any color after those 2 seem a bit higher. I've actually seen some white colored ones around 60's one in the 50's - but i'm always leary about too good to be true stuff i guess.

CPO is nice to cover anything major in your first year of ownership. After that you can extend (i think) or go aftermarket warranty or just spend the money when it does break.

Yup CPO is good if you plan to put a good amount of additional miles on it, otherwise if it's a weekend toy then even without it you'll still be fine, also depends on the condition of the car when you first get those keys.
