ARH LTH Group Buy.

Hey guys. Anyone interested in a group buy for the CLK63 Black long tube header setup? Here is the link to the headers: https://americanracingheaders.com/pr...09-long-system

If we can get a group buy going, they let me know that they would further reduce the price. Anyone else interested?

I'd be interested in these MBH headers.... They're slightly cheaper but look to be of much better quality.

Yes, the MBH headers look to be of great quality as well. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

If you read through this forum thread, https://mbworld.org/forums/clk63-bla...e-clk63bs.html, it explains the ARH setup in more detail. I talked with Nick (owner of American Racing Headers) and he said he could give a better discount with more people on board. Once we get a solid number of buyers he said he'd come back with a great deal. Anyone else interested?

MBH hands down -

Read thru the sub-forums -

There are way more members using MBH

than any other brand -

They are a work of art -

Thank-You

I'd be interested. How much more HP does it make, everything else equal (or stock)? How complicated is it to install?

We are dealers of both ARH and MBH, let us know if we can help. We just did an ARH group buy last month.

I was able to secure a great price with a ARH vendor for headers. Is anyone else interested? Feel free to PM me and I'll let you know the information that I have received.

Never heard the ARH setup on a CLK BS. Do any videos exist? I can't believe I'm saying this, but most longtube setups are actually a bit too much for my taste.

Yeah, most of the clk63 header videos on youtube look to be from weistec, evosport, or ttm. For comparison purposes, I've been using the c63 arh header videos as a baseline.

Just looking at the pictures the MBH headers appear to be equal length. The ARH headers don’t look like they are equal length. I had ARH headers on a supercharged Corvette and they were very well made and fit with no problems.

For those who have headers on their Black Series, how long did the take you to install? If you didn’t do the install yourself what were you charged for the install? It looks like MBH may be the way to go with a 200 or 300 cel cats. I want the performance not necessarily the extra sound volume.

Can't say I've ever heard an M156 or M159 with long tubes sound anything short of ear piercing even with cats. Interested to hear from any owners who have had them on the CLK though.

If you're looking for performance I'd go with a base tune now that you have the upgraded intakes, filters, and inlets.

I’ve driven a BS with long tube headers, stock muffler and a tune. I can’t say for sure what brand was used. The car was extremely loud at only 30 mph, it’s at least 4 times louder then the cat delete mod.

I will be installing my ARH system next month as they are currently getting ceramic coated. I ended up getting both the catless and racing 200 cell cat elbows. I will post some pictures once I get them back from the shop and some videos once installed.

if no objections, ill post some comparison videos of the x pipe i had installed and the sound. Driving it this weekend, im still quite pleased. It is not loud at all until you get to 3000 rpms. Bonus exhaust crackles when you let off. I might dyno as well.

Definitely post a video once installed.

I was under the impression Dime has been out of business since 2017.?

I was able to touch base with Sean from Dime Racing a couple months back for the remote ECU tune/throttle blip. Decided to skip it then since I wasn't sure if I wanted to go headers or secondary cat delete. For a while I had both the secondary cat and resonator delete but went back to the original setup due to the raspy sound at the lower rpm range.

Been driving my vehicle for some time with the ARH long tube header system and ECU/Throttle Blip Dime Racing tune. Vehicle also has the ROW airboxes, AFE Pro Dry S filters, and air inlet upgrades.

The initial install was with the catless elbows; however, since the smell was too strong, they were subsequently swapped out with the 200 cell cats a couple days later. I had a great experience working with Dime Racing for the ECU/Throttle Blip tune. The TCU tune would not work through the OBD port so had to get the vehicle on a lift and directly connect to the TCU. Yes, rev matching is now working!

To summarize, if I stay below 2500 RPM, the exhaust sound is relatively normal (you can still tell the vehicle has headers based on the exhaust note). It also sounds more sinister. Starting to go above 2500 RPM, all hell starts breaking loose; the backfires + the rev matching + headers is great! I think of all the setups I've had (original, secondary cat/resonator delete, or ARH header system), this one sounds the best and really brings out the full nature of the car.

I should be posting some videos next week so you can hear it rather than have me try to explain the overall driving experience.

Awesome to hear Dime is still supporting the TCU tune since that's what is on my car. Anxiously awaiting some videos.
