I'm getting ready to do a brake system overhaul and I wanted to update the lines to SS ones. I can only seem to find the front one. Anyone knows if the ones off of later c63s will fit our BS? Seems to be abundantly available for those cars.

You need two different kits :
W204 C63 AMG for front,
W209-R171 55/63 AMG for rear
I never found a kit with Front and Rear for the CLK BS
cause "C63" Rear hose is only (22mm) longer than "CLK63 BS" hose, which is good to fit..!!

Because often each kit is done for a car (Front and rear). As he need front form C63 and rear from CLK/SLK.
The rear of C63 does not fit for rear CLK BS
Just saw this thread. Gruppe M of Japan makes a very nice set for the CLK 63 BS, they custom made a set for my car. They fit perfectly. They are custom made on a per order basis, as the BS is extremely rare in Japan. The owner is a very good friend of mine, so I am pretty sure I can get a set if there is any interest. As for cost, it has been a while since I got them so I will have to ask again.
RacingBrake makes the best SS lines for Mercedes, had the, on my ML63 and they transformed how the car brakes and more importantly it even helped traction control as well. Coupled with performance fluid it will transport any braking system.

Looking at doing brakes this off season - namely flushing fluid as i am guessing it is original to 2008. In addition to SS lines, what brake pads has the community had success with?
Any good compromises in performance to brake dust to kindness to rotors? Stay OEM and deal with the dust? Mostly "spirited" driving, no intentions of tracking. Thanks in advance.

I’ve herd from my mechanic that usually has at least two BS in the shop and owns a BS that OEM is the best option.
