2013 Diamond White CLS550 - Good Lease Deal?
Hey guys,
I currently have the 2011 E350 Coupe and I've been looking to get back into a 4 door and have had my eye on the new CLS550. I've worked out a deal with my local dealership and wanted to get your guys input on it.
2013 Diamond White CLS550
Black Leather Interior
Premium 1 Package
AMG Wheel Package
Rear Spoiler
I know the sticker on the car is $83,875.
The deal I worked out is for a 24 month lease with 12k miles per year. I've worked it out with $0 down only the first month and the tag fee is due at signing. Total monthly including tax is $998. They said they've taken $12k off the MSRP to get this deal worked out for me.
How does this lease deal sound? To me it sounds like the numbers are good especially after comparing them to the 2013 BMW 640 Gran Coupe which had almost the same sticker price but the lease numbers were NO WHERE near this deal.
I appreciate your input and advice. I'm ready to pull the trigger but just want to make sure I'm not getting jerked around.
Also, with the 2014's due to come out in about 5-6 months I was concerned with pulling the trigger on a 2013 now in case there is some drastic change with the next model year. From my research it seems there won't be any significant changes. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks!!!

The changes for 2014 are supposed to be quite minor - Ipod cable now standard, not in P1 Package, forward collision warning now standard, there will be Eco-start stop standard and the rear view camera will have guidelines. Two new colors available - Hyacinth Red and Diamond Silver. Cuprite Brown no longer available. That is pretty much all I have found out as of now. The source was MBUSA.

Gran coupe is a red hot car...they can get more for it because people are paying it. It doesn't seem the CLS has taken off like a lot thought (even though I am sure this has to do with the fact it actually has competitors now in the A7, Gran Coupe and Panamera). It's still a hot car. I think your deal is a good one, though, considering it's 0 down and a 24 month lease (which normally are at a premium). I'd take it....especially versus a V6.

What is the money factor? What is the sale price of the car? Are they giving you anything for your previous car? What is the pay off on your previous car?
Leases are all about the details and the numbers.
$998 with 0 down sounds good. But if they gave you 20K for your trade in. Its probably a terrible deal. So what are the details?

I don't have any trade in. It's $0 down just the first months payment due at signing. No inception fees or anything else.

The monthly payment still seems high to me. The sale price is good. What is the residual?
.0016 isn't bad. Its 3.84% in interest. Which is pretty good. That's what i got for my CLS550.

BG, what dealer are you working with? We could probably help each other....I am looking for a black CLS but they really are only willing to come down to 5k off and then 3k Spring Event....so 8k total. You apparently have a lot better deal on the table.....

That is a decent deal. My dad has a similar deal but he has 15k a year and his MSRP was a little higher because the car they located for him had a few more options. He's right around $1089 a month.
He also got this lease when 218's were new and really scarce, he could probably get a better deal now, but under a grand for only 24 months on a car of that MSRP is pretty good.

Taking delivery of a diamond white tomorrow! Decided to go with that versus black.....beautiful car det550.
BG...you got a good deal....I couldn't get more than $11,250 off with the $3k included and most dealers wouldn't even go that far down.
I think I'm around $1000/month for 24 months with 0 down w/$1095 acquisition fee included (nailing me there.....but going to try to get them to throw in free child seat as local dealers charge $795 here) and first month's payment.

Damn my dealer screwed me again, I just got a 2013 white. Listed for about 84K and I id a single payment up front on a 24 month lease. I've got too big an ego to tell you what I just paid but I can tell you that is a great deal you've been offered.

Child seat question
Hi guys. Reviving an old thread here. I just noticed MJR24 mentioned something about the dealer throwing in a child seat for his cls550. What is this about? Are standard child seats or booster seats not compatible w a cls550? Thanks in advance.
