RESET SERVICE A and B INDICATOR on 2012 CLS

Please help, I've looked all over youtube and google. Does anyone know how to reset the Service A/B Indicator in a 2012 CLS 550.......I've come across conflicting information and I'm trying to do this....Please help Someone or point me in the right direction.

I think you need a computer for it. There are no button combinations i know so far that resets the indicator

Thanks Konigstiger, even though this is for an old model will this work....is there any truth to what "Akeni" said as far as needed a computer for it.

The PDF shows this is supposed to apply to W212 and C218 so I suppose it is the right procedure. One thing that looks different is the S110s4 button - called VCS in the PDF. I guess that is just the "back" button which for us with C218s, it will be above rather than below the cluster buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. Really hope this works cos I plan to do all regular service at an independent shop so info like this should be quite useful.

This is just technical nit-picking, but aren't our cars W218?

Never mind... I just answered my own stupid question by looking at the title of our forum! lol

HEY "OPP" and "Drummin4fun" ......the only thing presently is you would think everything is the same but it's not. The PDF is for the old CLS model....I have the newer one (2012 - 2014) I will try tonight and take pictures of what I am seeing. Thanks guys!!!! We shall figure this out

The top of the PDF includes the C218 as one of the covered models ( together with the W212 ). So while the pic is probably of a 212 model steering wheel, I hope since all three of us own C218s here, that the instructions will work for our cars. Otherwise Daimler would have misled us with its printing of 218 at the top of the page.
