Will the CLS63 AMG Wheels fit My CLS550?

Just bought a 2014 CLS550, but it only came with the 18" wheels.

I like the CLS63 AMG wheels a lot (picture here), and they are 19"x9.0 front and 19"x10 rear I believe.

However, I contacted the dealer to buy them, and they said they won't fit....is that right?

I'm confused - aren't they pretty much the same car, why wouldn't they fit?

I just called another dealership and they are quoting me almost $10,000 for a set of those wheels, without tires.

Are they really that expensive? I wasn't planning on getting the cheap replicas but I'm not buying wheels for $10,000.

Yea - there's no way I am paying that much just for a set of wheels.

I've found a few places that claim to have original factory wheels (I'm guessing they are refurbished). Has anyone dealt with these places?

Here's a few links:

Here

Here

Here (I'm guessing these are brand new since they are considerably more than the other places - but still a lot cheaper than dealership).

OR - I guess I could get some replicas. But I seriously know nothing about replicas or where to even look/start. Will I be able to tell any difference?

Replicas are cheap for a reason, they are cast Alum, not forged.. heavier and not as strong. Idk if you would consider an aftermarket wheel that has an "AMG" look, you would have many options, especially a more aggressive/flush offset. One thing to consider about a "cheaper wheel" is if its bent/cracked/damaged, its not so bad to replace a $300 wheel.

Yea, I'd rather get the real thing. I don't want to deal with bent wheels. It's not necessarily the money so much as it is the inconvenience of dealing with that. I'll check the used marketplace, ebay, or locally. No way I'm spending that much money if I can get some used or refurbished ones for a fraction of the price. They'll end up looking and performing the same anyway.

I haven't yet. Which wheels do you have? I'm looking for the 5 spokes pictured here: http://bit.ly/Siivjr

Shoot me a PM - I'm looking to get some ASAP. Thanks!

CLS 63 Rims

How do I tell the difference between a real AMG rim for a 2012 CLS as compared to a replica?

They absolutely fit. Those are "twin spokes"--and the best looking wheels on this model IMO. I found a set on Ebay from a guy in Dallas for $1,450 delivered--unbelievable lucky find---they are OEM takeoffs from a 2010 E63--not remanufactured. they are overall 8.8 out of 10 condition. They MAKE this car. Your best source for a used set is ebay--but you'll have to be patient. I originally had a deal on a set out of Germany for 1700 or so--but the guy was a scammer and never shipped them--ebay guarantee got my $ back but had to wait 30 days.
