ALPHA 4.6L Twin Turbo Tunes now abvailable!

http://tuning.alphaperformance.com/p...turbo-v8-m278/

With its stout design, the Mercedes Benz 4.6L V8 Biturbo engine provides excellent luxury class power for the 2011+ Mercedes-Benz lineup. The stock output of the M278 engine is rated at 402 horsepower and 443 torque, but these engines are quite under rated from the factory. A completely stock CLS550 4Matic put down 443hp and 509tq!

MORE POWER THAN A 991 TURBO!

An Alpha calibration file will take full advantage of your 4.6L BiTurbo’s ability. By precisely adjusting camshaft timing, boost output and air/fuel ratios, your M278 equipped 550 series will produce an incredible 530 horsepower with no other form of modification!

MIND NUMBING TORQUE AT YOUR COMMAND

What’s even more impressive when having an Alpha file installed on your 550 Series Mercedes-Benz is the monstrous torque that you will have on command. Through our non-invasive update to the powertrain control module (PCM), your AMG will produce 664 ft-lbs of torque! To put this in perspective, that’s a 155 ft-lb gain! More importantly, power is dramatically increased throughout the engine’s entire rpm range. Our Alpha file will provide you with power that you can feel no matter what rpm you decide to punch the throttle.

BIG BENEFITS, NO COMPROMISES

Just like all cars using an Alpha calibration file, your 550 Series 4.6L equipped Mercedes will exhibit smooth, stock-like drivability. The only difference is a dramatic increase in power and acceleration. What’s even better is that you’ll be able to enjoy all this with no detrimental effect to fuel economy at partial throttle or cruising speed.

NOT YOUR TYPICAL GENERIC TUNING SOLUTION

Most tunes available are generic, rebranded, “solutions” that come from one of a few sources. Typically these tunes are developed more by software engineers than seasoned race engine specialists. As an enthusiast why would you settle for the same run of the mill results?

OUR RACE WINNING EXPERIENCE CREATES HIGHER STANDARDS

At Alpha tuning we write our own files and use our years of race winning experience to bring something new to the market. Such knowledge allows us to optimize every aspect of the way that your car drives. We calibrate your ECU with a level of expertise that most others simply do not possess. Making finely tuned adjustments to cam timing, fueling, ignition timing, load control, throttle mapping and boost with a real focus on the overall effect to the driving experience, instead of just loading in a canned tune that is commercially available. What’s more is that we are able to provide you the highest level of performance with no sacrifice to reliability.

Here are some V-box numbers from a street run. The test was done on a 2014 CLS550 4matic using 20" all season tires. The conditions were the same for both tests.

Stock:

0-60 : 4.89 s

Alpha Tune:

CLS550
Dealerships usually dont "check" peoples tunes. "Voiding" a warranty is a lot harder to do then denying a warranty. The reasons for a denial have to be directly related to the modification. So if you get your car tuned, and you went in for a window regulator, there is no way they would deny you that repair. Now if you blew up your transmission, they now have a reason to be able to deny your claim.

No, in fact they cant see what we have changed at all. Technically if they really dug they can find it but I have never had it happen in 5 years of doing this.
