Wow it has been a long time since I've logged into this account. Since 2009 I have been frequenting the BMW forums as an avid M3 Enthusiast but I recently turned over the keys to the ///M and just picked up this bad boy tonight.

All I've got to say so far is wow!

This car specifically is very nicely equipped. Will take me some time to get used to all this tech that I've been missing out on for so long. The car feels lightning fast and all the gadgetry makes for a smooth and fun ride.

Mods to come (of course). Any suggestions on what to start with? Also - does anyone have a good idea of what size spacers I should rock to get these wheels nice and flush?

Threw in a shot of my ex just for funsies. I'm going to miss her. But something tells me I'll be just fine.

Nice color. So what mods do you have planned?

Thats a good question.

For starters will probably focus on some cosmetic mods. Thinking to get some painted reflectors for the front bumper and probably some CF Front Lip and Rear diffuser action.

It's been a while since I've had a benz so now I'm trying to get an idea of what mods are readily available for this car. Will definitely be looking into a tune and exhaust work for the car to let that Turbo v8 breathe.

Any suggestions you guys can provide would be excellent.

Brabus or Carlsson would be on the top of my list. The Brabus is more aggressive then the Carlsson with the later a bit more subtle and classy. I'm leaning towards the Brabus front lip and side skirts in the near future. By the way, is there anything different with the launch edition over a regular CLS550?

I think its just about the way its configured. All of the launch editions came in that steel grey color with ceramic color nappa seats and the 19" anthracite wheels which I'll probably end up swapping out down the line anyway for something more aggressive lol. Also it's got every option under the sun: Driver assistance, Parktronic, active seats, lighted door sills, etc etc. Mine is also 4matic but I don't think all of the launch editions were.

A lovely car and cracking colour combo!

Enjoy

Best out of the BMW as they are all looking a little dated in my opinion. They need to refresh the face of the BMW and be more innovative on the interiors.....
