Is the new CSL smaller???

Corrected - Is the new CLS smaller? damn apple autocorrect

I know this is an odd question but have been in my E550 since 2011 and leaned towards the cLS 3x since then. I have driven a number of 12's, 13's and 14's over the past ~4 years and always loved the car. FF to today and test drove a new 2016 CLS550. The darn thing felt considerably smaller than any others I'd driven before. Odd part was that this "feel" was both inside the car and outside walking around. It was it they shrunk it ~3-4 inches all the way around. Anyone else had this experience or am I as crazy as I thing I am right now?

I think the new front end make the 2016 CLS look smaller. Other than that, how do you like the 2016 CLS compare to your old 2014?

The 2016 is fine, nothing to brag about or pay more for over a 2014. I might actually prefer the look of the 2014 front end. And I certainly do NOT like the base (Premium 1 package) Garmin Map Pilot navigation system in the 2016 over the base (P1 package) MB Command navigation system in the 2014. You have to pay $3k more for P2 package in 2016 to get the MB Command nav system.

Thanks for the quick response, I think I like the 2014 front end a bit better myself. However, I do like the look of the new LED headlights, how are the new LED headlights compare to the 2014's LED headlights as far as performance and brightness?

I actually have not done much night driving with the 2016 yet so I don't have a good feel about the 2016 LED headlights vs. 2014.

Thank you for the replies. It must just be my perception is off. I hadn't seriously looked at one for a couple of years and just off. The 16's have a more sleek profile IMO.
