Summer Sale: Speedriven Stay Cool CLS550 Biturbo Performance PKG
Speedriven’s advanced ECU software tuning turns an otherwise stock Mercedes 4.7 liter Biturbo V8 into a serious performer, packing more than 535 HP and 600 TQ (SL550) without compromising the cars’ refined nature. In the blistering heat of summer, though, that serious performance engine is going to generate some serious heat. But don’t worry: Speedriven has the answer with its “Stay Cool” Biturbo Performance PKG.
Throughout the summer, Speedriven is bundling its ECU software tuning with an intercooler pump upgrade and a set of high-flow drop in filters for a special price. Just $2000 … and that includes next day return service for your ECU!
- ECU software upgrade (regular price $2000)
- high-flow drop-in filters (regular price $~100)
- upgraded intercooler pump (regular price $500)
- UPS next-day return service for ECU (insured, $100)

Approx. $2700 total value, for just $2000
All things considered, Speedriven’s “Stay Cool” 550 Biturbo Summer Performance PKG offers a superior bang-for-the-buck performance equation with gains that are noticeable both at the track and at the seat-of-the-pants. And it does so with industry-leading value. This PKG is available for all E550, CLS550, S550, CL550, GL550, and SL550 Mercedes-Benz models with the 4.7 liter Biturbo V8.

Answering a question I got today on the phone: yes. If you are local to Chicago we will deduct the cost of shipping, so you'll be at about $1850.

They're not under-rated, really. Just that the newest transmissions are more efficient than older ones, so there is less driveline loss. We're nowhere near the 20% loss guys were/are seeing on the '03+ V12 cars with the 5 spd.

If run 001 there is stock that's kind of high no? The CLS550 is rated at 402 crank hp.

That's an SL550 (449 at the crank), as stated in the original post. End result, however, has been pretty much the same across models.
