CLS is CPO, E350 is Carmax incredibly clean, tight MB service history verified by my current MB service advisor. Looking for opinions. Like the looks of both - the exhaust note and speed of the CLS550 is great, don't mind a coupe though as I had a Lexus RC350 for a couple years recently. Daily driver is a 2008 W211 that I'm trading in, it's been a great car for 141k but has a lot of issues on the horizon per recent service (exhaust leak, CV joint, motor mounts) so time to say goodbye.
Driver profile is daily driver, commuter, 70 mi/day, average 17k miles a year on my vehicles. Married, no kids, country club guy. Not concerned about perception, either car would be about the 300th most expensive car in the parking lot and drive my W211 everywhere currently - it's really clean - can easily afford both, I think both are pretty good deals with the E350 being a great deal, so that is why I'm looking to compare.
Both cars are black, the E350 has a tan interior, CLS black - I live in Arizona so doesn't matter what color the interior is, it's hot! Will be getting PhotoSync tint on either car upon receipt.

Sexier car imo
2 diff cars...... Both are good looking cars, if you like the sound of the V8 then you will be dissapointed with the E350 eventually and it seems like you keep them for awhile.... aka 140k miles on the current one...
If you ever have people in the back it's a tossup, the cls rear headroom is not great if your 6-2 like me
my .03 and in full disclosure, Im biased towards v8's obviously
