Has anyone done the electric exhaust bypass valves?
I'm considering a pair for my 14 550. Already did the resonator delete it's just not loud enough and I like the option to stay stock sound when I'm on the phone but loud when it's time to turn heads.
anyone done this with good results? What brand and what's the diameter of the exhaust?

Bump for this? I am willing to gunie pig a reputable electric exhaust if you guys can give me some brand names.
I removed the muffler on my c300 and was pretty satisfied but like OP said it would be good to have the option to go stealth especially when you leaving a quite neighborhood at 3am

Ok, did this. I put in the Summit Racing kit because it had the longest warranty of any brand I could find (12 Months). If you want more sound, do this. It is fantastic! I also removed my resonator and put an X pipe in so that should be noted but it just gives the car the sound it deserves. No droning, not too loud to still be on the phone with the windows closed but it's loud enough to make people turn and look.
Next may be a Eurocharged tune. 402 to 530 HP for less than $2k... could that be real does it ever go on sale?

The Kit from Summit was like $380 the Exhaust work was $160 and the switch install (hardwired) was a couple hours labor at Eurocharged Orlando.
I think I got 163.4 HP gain from this.
Didn't Dyno it, but I can tell you the Turbos love to breath and it feels faster at higher rpms but I do not have hard data to back that up, it's also colder in FL now than last week and it could just be the cold air. As for the sound it's louder but still a refined rumble.

Ok so next question is.....would this affect the ECU grades available as I am thinking about doing both. I have done the simple (straight pipe, not the X) resonator delete and love the change. Now I have to bug to keep tuning. I think its the only thing that's going to keep me from buying a newer S550 coupe that I can't afford
