Tire Recomendation Need your thoughts
I need new rubber and don't want Pzeros again. Anyone made the switch and happy with what they picked? I'm debating Micheline Supersports v Continental Extreme Contact v Firestone Firehawks

I went from Pzero to Continental DWS06 recently. I also had the DWS on my previous car and loved the tread life, lack of road noise and wet weather handling. And they are reasonably priced. As soon as I switched there was a noticeable reduction in road noise... those Pzeros are the worst tire I’ve ever had - not what I expected from that brand - that’s for sure. I don’t know anything about your other choices.

Continental Extreme Contact for me. Quiet, tread life lasted forever, excellent traction dry/wet/light snow. Plus I got a great deal at Tire Rack.

I currently have the Pzero's on my 2017 C43. Fronts are shot at 6500 miles. I only have 2 choices for run flats, other is the Conti Sport Contact but I have not read good things about those

Continental Extreme Contact. I have them on my '13 C350 4M coupe for over 2 years and I'm overall satisfied with them. That's what will be going on my '14 CLS550 4M when it needs tires.

How do the Continentals compare the something like Michelin Super Sports? The Michelin's are considerably more expensive, are they worth it?
I really want to get away from my P-Zeros. The slightest bit of water has them spinning up all over

I can't answer your question about the Michelins, but we get a LOT of rain here, and the DWS are the best tire I've ever ran in the rain. They are the best tire I've ever had and I've had a variety of factory and after market tires from Pirelli, Michelin, BFG, Yokohama, Sumitomo, Nitto, and these are my fav.

Another Continental recommendation
I’m with the rest of the group here. I had Continental Extreme Contact DWS on my previous car and liked them. Quiet, excellent in wet and dry, handled snow well for an all-season tire. My CLS (a ‘12) when purchased in 2016 had Conti Pro Contacts. They’ve still got plenty of tread, and are performing well. I just changed them out for the Blizzaks, declaring our endless winter to be over. When replacement time comes, I’ll get a set of Extreme Contacts.

How many miles do you have on the Conti Pro Contacts?

so I just replace the fronts from the conti that come spec to the extreme contact and I can tell a big difference. I can't compare to the others on the list....but save some money and you will be happy with these
