Lane Keeping future doesn't work
Greeting!
after I lost 1st gen CLS550 by the traffic accident a couple months ago, I had spent quite tough time,
but now, I am very happy with my new one, 2014 Black.
Although I still am fond of the original style, I found myself enjoying much more advanced features of C218.
Now I would like to get your advice on the lane keeping assist, which doesn't look work properly.
When either standard or adaptive on Lane Keeping assist is chosen, the car warns me by vibrating the steering, but it doesn't correct the driving direction.
The green line appears on the graphics display when the velocity reaches the enough speed, however, at vibration the green line doesn't turn red, nor there is no correction of the steering.
I search internet and read the manual, but I couldn't find anything else I can do to enable that feature.
Your advise is very much appreciated.
The road condition I tried is one solid straight line the other broken line.
Cheers!!!

I've turned mine off, it has dragged me towards more 18-wheelers and through more potholes than I can remember. It's a completely pointless feature/gimmick, IMO, as keeping in your lane is a pretty fundamental part of driving and if you can't keep yourself in the lane, maybe you need to have some more practice
