Appointment set for Thursday, June 20th at OE Tuning to take advantage of this sale. Can't wait to see the results. Gabriel was very helpful! If you want an OBDII tune, get it now! Marv
The sale price includes a MyGenius handheld at no cost (on most vehicles). Saves you $$, plus you can change tunes back and forth (ie before you go to your dealer).
You would need to contact Sales@OETuning.com or call them at 818-574-5075 for pricing. I'm getting mine installed this Thursday and will post my thoughts then. Marv
I am in CA visiting my sister, so I made a side trip to OE Tuning and had it installed yesterday. Their tune turns it into a beast! Unbelievable! I've driven it about 300 miles with tune for 91 Octane without any problems. They had some problems setting it up but promised to fix everything. Right now all I have are the stock and 91 on My Genius. They seem to be good people and I trust them to do right by me. I've driven about 150 miles on 87 octane and I think it runs almost as good as 91 octane. Premium gas here in CA is running almost $5 a gallon. They have sold 45 units to different class MB on MBWorld with the sale. Sale ends July 4th. My CLS550 is a 2013 and now has 22,500 miles on it. Is it worth it, hell yes! Marv

Great meeting you Marv. Thanks for the great write-up!

I received the My Genius on Friday and sent off my ID file on Saturday, patiently awaiting for the tune now.. Based on your thoughts I really hope this transforms the car!
Got home Tues night from my 2420 mile trip, including the side trip to OE Tuning. Jeremy was great and the tune is incredible. I've just switched back to the MBZ tune and the difference between the OE tune and the MBZ tune is remarkable! Having the ability to switch back and forth between tunes is great. Using the in-dash calculator I averaged 25.0 MPG for the entire trip! That included a lot of WOT, passing maneuvers and up and down mountains. I wasn't expecting that good of MPG. It's hard to keep your foot out of it! Marv
I forgot to mention that the 25 MPG on the trip included 2 hours of stop-go traffic in LA and 1 hour getting through Las Vegas at the wrong time of day.
It takes about 8-10 minutes to change tunes and I'm keeping the MyGenuis in my trunk should I need to make an unscheduled trip to the dealer for warranty issues.
I'm now using the 93 Octane tune and loving it! So far my wife hasn't figured it out! Marv
If you're considering a tune, now is the last day to order one at sales@oetuning.com. The sale ends at midnight tonight (I'm assuming Pacific time zone).
Their tune really transformed my CLS550 4Matic into a beast. Not seeing any reduction in MPG, other than I can't keep my right foot under control. I let my neighbor drive on the freeway and he was blown away (he drives a Panamerica). Just a note, make sure you have a plan on where you want to take your car when you put down the loud hammer! It really scoots ahead and you need to have a plan. Loving it, I now have it set on the CA91 Octane tune and it responds very well when using 87 Octane! Marv
Just an update on my OE Tune after over a month and about 3,000 miles. No problems have occurred and it rocks! Turns my CLS550 into a beast when needed and drives politely when not. I'm getting 25MPG HWY and 19 City. I am using the CA91 Octane Tune with 87 Octane gas and the car seems to like this combo. No detonation or other problems. I've switched back to the MB tune and the difference is remarkable versus the OE Tune. This Tune is much better than I expected and I'm very happy with the Tune and the ability of MyGenuis to change tunes when you want. Love my car! Marv
