My 2013 CLS550 also has the Harman Kardon and it sounds great. I'm not an audiophile, however. Have you checked fuses to be sure your sub is working? Seems odd that it would sound different than the E350 system. Just last night mine did something it hasn't done before. It took me a few seconds to notice that I couldn't control the volume. I then noticed that the parking brake light was on in the dash. I wonder if you have a fault code that doesn't allow the audio system to perform correctly. Good Luck, Marv

Do yourself a favor and turn off the Logic 7 option in the menu. I hated the sound until I did that and it sounds much better especially with Bluetooth or satellite radio. The HK speakers are not the best on the market but the logic 7 definitely does not work for today's compressed audio files. Logic 7 may sound better with CD audio but I have yet to try that.
I thought my Harman Kardon with Logic 7 sounds bad at first... Then I start to play around with the settings and figured out that the reason why my sound quality was bad is because I had turned on "Boost" on the volume settings. Once I put it back to "Standard", Bluetooth music with Logic 7 on sounds great actually!
Oh I forgot about the boost, I'll get to that when my car gets out the shop. So looks like the fix is to turn off boost and logic 7
For me, the boost is the only one messing up the quality of the sound system. After turning off the boost, I tried Bluetooth music with both Logic 7 on and off; and imo Logic 7 on is better.
